I have Thanksgiving and Christmas with my Sister and Dad... We order restaurant food and pick it up the day before. Reheated on the day at Dads.

I go to Australia for Xmas to see my family. I generally stay 2-3 weeks. I really like it when some bands are touring at the same time and I can go out and have some fun but other than that, I catch up with all my Aussie school friends and such and spend a lot of time with my family, especially granddaddy as he's aging now and lasting a lot longer than expected but I fear this might be the last time I get to see him. That makes me sad, he's such a dorky old man lol. Spends his time at the pub most days on a bench full of lying old men, in the middle of a wide spot they call a garden. My tix are already booked for planes =)

I have 2 antibiotic prescriptions for a probable bowel infection that maybe making my intestine spasm, causing the tremor, and maybe the cause of my elevated white blood cell count. I also have a muscle relaxer to help me rest. I checked out fine neurologically. I told the doctor that I feel like the tremor originates in my gut. She did some poking around and found tenderness in my lower abdomen. My urine checked out fine so it wasn't my bladder. She mentioned diverticulosis and I told her that I do have irritable bowel syndrome. Putting all this together, we're hoping that it will be as simple as an intestinal infection and that the antibiotics will have me feeling better by Monday.

do you drink any kefir? i will admit that its weird, (and i have to mix mine with milk, or else just take it as a shot) but it works really well for balancing gut bacteria. i find that it works for constipation and diarrhea. my kid will have soupy poopy for weeks after being sick, or be completely fine the day after having some kefir.

its really nifty stuff. i like the pomegranate flavor. its like a cross between yogurt and sour cream.

I know I'm going to need some to go along with 2 antibiotics. I hate putting antibiotics in my gut.

    I may, Ori.

Hubby learned about kimchi from a Japanese co-worker and he's always wanted to try it.

    School's having a surplus auction.

Cool drill press and stuff, starting bid, 40 - then someone bids 45 - and then some asshole bids 210 - fuck you too, guy.

There's some neat welders and other tools, but really large stuff, so I have no way to even consider it - there's a small lot of random junk that also has a lincoln crackerbox, I'm going for that - $15 at the moment, auction closes tomorrow - I'm hopeful.

Probably overpaying as it is - it doesn't have any leads or anything with it, has a taped cord, and is older than I am - but I'll spend at least 30 if I need, I think. I'll just ask the welding teacher if he can save any old unsafe leads instead of throwing them out, and they'll match the quality of everything else I have.

I also don't have the outlet for it.
