Suspending my sabbatical so I can get drunk and wallow in self pity without being ENTIRELY alone.

oe now, raman water on the boil - I add a drop of this insanely hot sauce to the seasoning, gives it a pretty powerful kick - heartburn tomorrow - I feel old thinking that.

Another old old picture of my neighborhood. Ive circled my place. the giant building in front my place, actually a empty lot I now own/ Anyway, it was what Im told a multi level stable for horses, with lifts..
What isnt to puzzling is beyond the bridges, that is all empty , shopping plaza and modern machine shops there now. No soot or smoke..

Spooky house complete with Angle Trumpet Flowers..

A squirrel that was eating an acorn..

bit of horn or antler worked ok for awhile, mine likes the big knee joints or whatever they are. only a few other toys have held up at all. flexible is good. dont leave any toys outside, freezing weakens them, as does sun damage. xena likes tennis balls, she peels the fuzzy skin off.

my parents never let me watch romper room. they thought it was retarded ..

the large field behind my home is still there. I wonder what purpose it served then, much of that space to the right the home, its all empty lots now too, nice to see there was trees. things looked much simpler then.

if you remember my summer boat ride. I was on what we call "the pier", but it was once this powerhouse. I would be standing in the lower left corner.

my street would be about where the men are standing, in approximate with the previous aerial phot where the bridges sit.

LOL! That is exactly what I would need.

I've also thought about (and know I need) to rent one of those big dumpsters that you see at construction sites so I could just throw away all the stuff that needs throwing away.

In the yard alone, I probably have 200 or 300 flower pots that I've "collected" (bought plants in and never EVER thrown away) through the years. At least I keep them confined to 2 places. :p

The mother won't let me put but a limited amount of stuff (you can read that as nothing) for the lady and her crew that pick up our trash. gad

Religion seems just a tool for worse things to me. On itself it is not so bad but it is so often abused that it gets a bad name.

And I love those old photos Ori!

I've had a busy week, since last Wed.

Last Wed, my niece (by extended family) had a baby. I rode to the hospital with someone else as when I found out the baby was here I was as high as a lunatic or something on firecrackers...but I was able to hold it all together for the hospital visit. He is beautiful.

Then Saturday at work, there was a group of young women that literally ganged up on this one dude...first there was some smack talking. The young women left...I (mistakenly) thought it was over. Next thing you know, they were back...I was in the lobby not paying much attention but trying to get it clean so I could get out.

Then next thing I know, there was noise...and about 9 of these girls had circled around the dude in this booth and 2 of them were beating this dude down like a bug! Well, he did have enough sense to draw himself down as small as he could get...but when 2 of the girls were pulled off of him, then 2 more got in their place. 1 last one jumped up on top of the table, stomping him. DEARGOD! I found myself screaming STOP STOP...not that that did any good. :p

mercysakes...here I still am with this STOP STOP throughout the whole thing...but no matter what, I still had enough sense not to get in the midst of all that. Finally the smallest one in the group pulled the tall, built Amazon girl off him and they left...quick.

After they were gone, I was scared they had broken his neck or something...I've never been so glad to see anyone lift their head up. He walked out, later...said he didn't know the girls (which I highly doubt) :D and he left. The manager said she was going to call 911 but didn't call anybody, didn't do squat.

That got my heart beating way too fast.

Ya know...I gave that "incident" ^ a lot of thought. Well, it just got stuck in my head and wouldn't get out is more like it.

I don't know what it was about...I didn't hear their words.

I don't know if that dude might have done something that may have cried out for justice.

However, McD's is not the place to exact justice. I don't/didn't want to see it for myself.

    and that being said...

Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do...but ya don't put it out for the public to see or know of...not if it's done in private <---------only my opinion

I can totally see this happening in a restaurant workplace.....the employees become friends and they work and go out together and then one day get fed up and they all walk out together as a group and say take this job and shove it :p leaving many positions open for the next group they hire :)

How very perceptive you are, my dear. :2thumbsup:

That is about to happen/is now happening at my very own work place, except its the managers that are going (2 have already left)...and several of the workers that have been there the longest. That's the dang truth, too!
