It's an old painter's ladder that I cut down to 10 foot long, functional decoration. It's normally at the end of the greatroom where the hanging plants are for watering. I can also use it to change the bulbs in the recessed lighting in the greatroom and master bedroom. Also to open the high windows in the bedroom. It's all open timber vaulted ceilings in those two rooms... The ladder would make sense if you saw it... (pic of the plants in my "other stuff" album... can just see the ladder there.)

Bah, put my quarter into the spice grinder and busted it; then my dad calls and distracts me. I turn around and plop...all on the floor.

Gonna be smoking guinea hair for the next few days. :biker:

I usually do it that way. I don't think I've used my grinder since last Oct.
But this stuff was super dense and I thought the grinder would be a good idea.
    Not so much!

you have nitrogen pressurize with inert but your mvac is a tad different than a home ac. the heat exchanger and core are more like heat pump than they are split system ac.

ill actually not have a licenses to work on cars. only to buy refrigerant for high pressure and low pressure systems for homes and offices. not a grease monkey ,, but a hvacr monkey. ;)

i piss instructor off because I ask questions about automotive ac.

he say "you wanted to fix cars. why you not go to automotive school". hes just being pissy.

of course refrigeration truck ac is like house ac. diesel generation electric with a plug..

Canada started all that refrigerant gas dangerous bad stuff, with the Montreal protocol.
funny I wasnt even involved with hvac at the time, but I was buying R11 cause it was great cleaning fluid for just about anything. and I couldnt get it no more.
Im fairly sure R22 will be just as valuable. what they really did was make it harder for the home owner to have access to their own gas on hand. see if you had a 30lb tank of R22 and they come to service your machine. they couldnt charge you shit for an few oz of R22. it would last the homeowner a lifetime cause most machines will run forever if maintained. as R22 becomes phased out. and 90% the home systems run on R22 there is no virgin gas left, very little retrofit gas will work with these systems.
this the shit I got A's on because even the instructor isnt hip to the phase outs. R134a will be phased out in Europe,.. And where we are today, in the era of 4th Generation of refrigeration gas phase. the 1st being anything that worked, the 2nd durability, 3rd ozone protections , 4th zero ozone deletion, zero global warming, high efficiency < impossible. just go back to using organics like ammonia and other more hazardous substances.. They just want the consumers to buy HFC a product of ARAB_OIL , when you can make R22 with some alcohol, methane, bleach.. < oh the big scary hole in the ozone bullshit is bullshit!!
