I LOVE that cat! He reminds me of Freddy, one of my cats that disappeared about 7 yrs ago...but I'm pretty sure he didn't hike to Canada.

Does he have a name yet?

I never took breaks at the half way mark. More like the 2/3 mark so there was only 90mins or so before home time. That was when I was in an office.

I take it whrn im hungry but its easier to take it on the hour so its after my paperwork is done. There are other factors so its not a set time but its the best time usually.

The moment the office introduced set working times and lunch times was the day I stopped working in an office. Well I gave a months notice but yeah. I didn't really see the point of doing that to us especially when I had no one to answer to or really needed to be there within certain times. It really pissed me off. My morale went down, attitude dwindled. Made a big complaint to the interstate branch CEO told 'em to get fucked via webcam interview and went and started my own business.

I was actually back at that building yesterday for a delivery and man, some of the faces of the people I used to work with told the tale as they stood outside choofing on cancer. Glad I got out.

It sounds like an overeaction to break time but i can understand. Out of highschool i was working at A&P overnight. They had set break times but there was 3 breaks over 8 hours so it never bothered me. Until they asked me to help out another store. The othet store locks you in all night and on break they make you sit in this tiny break room. They closed that store soon after but it didnt matter because i was never going back.

i hated break rooms too...i needed breaks from the damn idiots i worked with...not breaks from the work

so break time meant sitting in a cramped room smelling some dipshits disgusting lunch breath

The guy i work with has to wait for the supervisor to give him a break. Its really not as bad as it sounds. I mean we can have food or drinks in the control room and as long as everything is running good we can walk around or do like i am and just chill on my phone. But it reminds me of my first job when i was still in school. where you had to wait until the floater came around and gave you a break and you didnt know when that would be.

rolling - you should buy a cheap external hard drive or a couple of USB sticks to back up your important files to. or use dropbox or google drive, they let you store a few GB of files on the web for free.
