Many people, considering predictions of an eventual collapse of the U.S. economy and in turn the destruction of the world economy, are urging people to trade in there cash savings for precious metals such as gold and silver. I suppose it couldn't hurt, and it could end up saving your ass in the long run.
Except everyoine withdrawing their savings would also place a big blow in world economics, not to mention what would happen if the Saudi Government took their money out of the US
Well, it's not like a lot of people are actually going to start purchasing gold and silver. Most people think that their credit cards and checkbooks will be good forever...
Credit cards and checkbooks... Interesting really, electronic money, imaginary money. Could be givin or taken at will, what meaning does it have? It may work, though I see no way it would, however that is likely why it will. Yeah, we're semi-fucked. The future at least should be interesting, things are changing, now is the time to make an impact on the world. In this confused, excited state, much could be done.
my friend says that we have 80 years till the oil runs out..is that accurate? also..what do you guys picture this world w/o oil like? i see it as an apocolyptic wasteland.
got any tips of convincing him? hes going to go into the business of petroleum and i told him that probably wont be a wise thing to do...and he said he'll die before the oil runs out. and i said about everyone under 40 oneday living without oil...hes so thick headed...
