So my my boyfriend and I have been dating two months, not that big of a deal. We live about a half hour away and I have a car and he dosent so we see eachother once maybe twice a week. But we dont really talk otherwise, so I called him and he didnt answer. I didnt leave a message but I texted him telling him we needed to talk, only beacuse I wanted to open the lines of communication, I had no breakup in mind. But uhh yeah apparently we broke up...through TEXT! what the fuck!? I cried for a bit and now that i am over the initial shock, its not as painful as i thought it would be so yeah heres our little text breakup, thought i'd share because its fairly entertaining and a *very* mature way to handle a breakup (note the sarcasm) "you need to call me because we need to talk" "what why" "about our relationship" "what about?" "why don’t you call me?" "cuz im busy what" "ok then clearly its not that important to you" "whatever I don’t have time for your shit right now" "that’s uncalled for to say something like that. But I hate how you don’t even seem to care about our relationship" "im going to sleep I have work at 4 unlike you so leave me alone" "what did I do to deserve this?" "nothing its just not working out" "well that’s what I've been wanting to talk to you about, can you call me?" "no im going to sleep" "ok w/e id still like to be friends" ...and we havent talked since. I consider it a breakup, wouldnt you?
Yeah it doesnt sound like he's that interested in pursuing the relationship any further. I'm in the same situation as you, only I'm the one with the car. Yep, 30 minutes away. Not so bad :] Communication is important.
heh yeah i think its done. Honestly i dont need that bullshit so i'll move on. I have no bad feelings towards him, it just didnt work out. 30 minutes isnt too bad, just inconvienient with work scheduals conflicting and all that. Yeah being the one with the car isnt so cool.

well i asked if we could hang out a few days ago to talk and he was busy or whatever. so i finally had enough and decided to talk overt the phone but clearly he cant handle that. I wasnt even gonna break up. But if it makes him hapyy, then its cool. Im honestly taking this much better than I thought. By the way he's 19, almost 20.
Who would even consider not breaking up with someone who would say "I don't have time for your shit right now"? Fuck him (not literally, however).
