The Borgias - The Original Crime Family

Just finished watching all 3 series of this . I enjoyed it a lot, and I wish they'd made the projected 4th series to round off the story.

All the little details of Italian renaissance life are captured very well. Visually, it is a treat. There are a few deviations from actual history though - for instance Savanarola was burned in Florence and not in Rome as depicted in the series.

It's not viewing for the squeamish or for kids - there are scenes of violence and torture which might upset some people.

I highly recommend this.
