i think they usually do wings, but she is vegan and also gluten free so they're like fake chicken nuggets or something i like it as an interview set up, actually.. i'd never heard of it but i saw the billie one and then watched a few others.
I like her but to me she's a young Lana Del Rey. Her teen fans say she is not like other pop stars. Yeah she makes sad and serious music which is not "pop". But I heard Lana do that first several years ago. Someone before her too probably. I saw an interview with Billie and she genuinely seems depressed.
every time i hear someone describe what her music is, i always want to force them to listen to the whole album. she isn't one thing. definitely not just sad and serious. the album is wonderfully arranged in terms of the flow of songs, too.
i am aware that the effect she has on me is disproportionately intense. i know not everyone else is going to feel it, but i also see that i'm not the only one who feels this way. and it isn't just teenagers who get her. like, in that first video i posted in this thread, she touches on her side of it.. she has this genuine love for people and she wants to connect to people, and she's managed it. her music, and listening to her talk in interviews gives me a deep sense of calm and well-being. it's a weird sensation actually because it feels the closest i've ever felt to something like that.. i remember seeing some girls on television in the 90s crying over micheal jackson and thinking it was so bizarre, why were they crying like that? this is similar. i've felt intensely over music (much "better" music) many times, but i've never felt so intensely about an artist. and it's as ridiculous as romantic love, i guess, but whatever, it has been an incredible help to me lately. i am thankful she exists. also, although i always talk about it as if it's all her, the art is equally her brother's creation and i don't think it would be anything without him.
i posted this in another thread but i will again, because the fact they made this music in their childhood home is amazing. music made in a bedroom and massive crowds knowing all the lyrics to all the songs within a month of the album being released it's like something from the past before the music industry took over.
This is the first I've ever heard of her. Definitely a step in a better direction as far as music goes.
She is over hype Media is pushing her all over everyone ears and eyes She reminds me of halsey when she came out as well " she is better than lana"
