One problem with your dream. There are many examples, such as the Chinese Imperial court & Middle Eastern caliphates where eunuchs functioned as royal body guards & harem guards. These castrated worriers acted with extreme viscousness and cruelty when required.
The problem isn't just with testosterone but with the wiring of the male human brain. Neurology may eventually solve the problem but I suspect that with the coming of nuclear weapons the point of no return has already been passed.
We need to also examine what it is about the human female that attracts them to ruthless, powerful males. Takes two to tango it appears.

You really think you car "round up" weapons, to stop voilence?

    .....nah.

Then we could also have a "War On Violence" :D

Though rounding up guns sounds like a good way stop violence, it's a pipe dream. You round up all the guns, then people will find other things to kill each other with...the problem isn't the guns it's us. We, our society, has to instill a priceless value on life so that the thought of actively killing one another is unthinkable err primitive (a la raping of women, slavery, sexual relations with preteens). Needless to say, we're far from that type of development. My $.02

All humanity will finally come to our senses and destroy all methods of mayhem and live in peace and harmony forever.

Damn --that was hard to type. I hate lying to myself.

If humans find peace among each other it means we're killing something else.

Yeah, the earth is governable in certain sense but no, there won't be equality for everyone on earth.

right, I wonder where people get this illusion that everyon is/should be treated equal?

some people are losers and some people are better at things than others.

Cart before the horse ducky. A society, such as Australia's, that has already imposed strict gun controls has already instilled a priceless value on human life. On the other hand, America . . . . . . . . . .

I wouldn't get too smug about it, the presumption of innocence is one of the pillars of a free society and you guys are getting awfully close to a dangerous form of fascism.

'Police in Victoria, Australia, now have three new powers:

    1. $1000 on the spot fine ($2000 if it is in a licensed venue) for anyone carrying a knife without lawful excuse.

This power is 'reverse onus' meaning the offender is deemed to be guilty until proven innocent

    2. The ability to conduct both planned and random searches of all persons in designated public areas - such as train stations, CBD areas, licensed premises etc.

    3. It is completely illegal for any person under the age of 18 to purchase a knife.

I was taught "A gentleman always carries a knife"

    Old Inuit saying..."A knife-less man is a life-less man"

Yes, because when Uncle Sam says 'Jump' the Australian government says 'How high'

There are no gentlemen in the US. Besides, I have no problem with the police having those powers.

As your philosophy dictates, a national government does not always reflect the wishes of it's people.

I'm unsure what the expression 'is dead meat' means in this context.
If you mean financially and morally bankrupt I'd agree.
But hey, the US doesn't have a monopoly on bastardry.
What really keeps me awake at night is the forthcoming war between fundamentalist Islam and the US version of fundamentalist, right wing Christianity. (And some posting here want to blame everything on Zionists?) C'mon, the US is using Israel to it's own advantage. Why bomb Iran when you can get someone else to do the dirty work and get the results blamed on 'Zionists'?

I really don't know what would it would take to make the whole world free. More people live in poverty than in wealth. Jesus said we would always have the poor with us.

It seems like the few soil everything for the many. Most people don't wish to hurt others I am pretty sure of that. It seems like the law treats everyone as though they might.
