U must of been dreaming the Bible doesnt predict anything like that true it predicts we r all gonna be judged and the world will endd but it doesnt tell us when however it says there will be signs like lots of flooding earthquakes and tradgeties
If the bible is real, it is impossible to have a code in it. God didn't throw the Bible straight from heaven. It was written by many authors (Moses, David, Matthew, etc.) and I highly doubt they had a code in it. Its just pulling numbers out of your ass is all it is.
what "the bible code" really predicted was that the world would end in 1844. and it did. in the sense it was refering to. =^^= .../\...
No... just no. I'm going to give you a pattern. You guess the next element. 1...2...4...8...16... Did you guess 32? If so, you are wrong. I was selecting 'random' numbers from 1 through 50. the next number could have been 24. Just because you see a bunch of numbers that MIGHT form a pattern doesn't mean that the pattern is there. Furthermore, why is one determined to take chapter number and verse number to find a pattern? I find it rather annoying that people do that when the Tanakh wasn't even divided until 538BC-ish, but that division was just a way to cycle through the Tanakh every three years or so. The verses of the bible was introduced near the end of the Renaissance, but the idea of using both Chapter and verses wasn't around until 1560. If one argues that the numbers of the chapter and verses are God inspired, I will also argue that one of the DaVinci Code's sources, the Gospel of Mary, is just as God inspired.
people like silliness. and then they associate it with whatever belief their familiar with. i thought the context was refering to actual references IN the text. THOSE predicted the 1844 thing. those chapter and verse numbers, as pointed out, were arbitrarily imposed after the fact, and have nothing at all to do with the actual text from the time it was written. of course the people involved in creating that formatting my have been intending to mess with our minds for reasons of their own. but that doesn't make their doing so any kind of holy writ. =^^= .../\... (but anyway here we go again with something that is all about one particular religeon that doesn't have a damd thing to do with any sort of real objective future, and belongs thus in the religeon forum, NOT this "future" one!) =^^= .../\...
WOW.... I never cease to be amazed at the ignorance of people that will spout rhetoric without any personal research or study into ANY subject they are spewing their disdain about. People attack the bible, yet have not researched to see if science proves or disproves it. They hear things, from other ignorant people, and perpetuate that ignorance. ABSURD! Study the science. Archaeology has proven many biblical references. MANY! This book cannot be understood on the level of it's inspiration. We never will fully comprehend until we pass from this stage to the next. Try to be informed, not just opinionated. STUDY the SCIENCE as well, and ASTRONOMY. ....................FORGIVE THEM,FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO
yes, by all means, forgive the ignorantly fanatical, for they too know not what they do. including the perfectly natural wrath of a time almost directly resulting from their very fanatacism. the work of the collective indifference to humanities dependence on the web of life and its diversity, for the sake of arbitrary collective ego gratification, of pretending to know what is not known. there is no greater even then to knowingly cause avoidable suffering and no force more harmful nor destructive in all of existence then the aggressiveness of gratuitious pseudo conventionality.
"The Bible code predicts 2009 big terror attack" Even if there is a code, it was incorrect, this is 2010 .
has anyone else heard about the hidden messages in Moby Dick? http://cs.anu.edu.au/~bdm/dilugim/moby.html
in a totally intuitive nonrigorous sense. but one it doesn't really take rocket science to observe either.
