Nesta...That Tetsuo, the first one...that will rip your fucking mind out of your chest, shove it up your ass, then make you shit it back out your eyes. Most people just can't handle it, sober. I haven't seen it in years, but it was amazing.
Scanner Darkly: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405296/ Watch that shit, it's trippy and at the ending you'll be like FUCKING BASTARDS?!?!?!?
Yeah-ironman will make you wonder how weird humans can get.My son plays "Begotten" behind his band somtimes at shows.Only seen part of it,but looks weird as hell.Motel Hell is weird too. Thanks Nesta-you pointed out a couple I haven't seen.
I've always wanted to watch the deep sea episode of "the Planet Earth" while coming down from a trip.
Ah, thought of another one. Escape from Witch Mountain, another Disney film (many people forget just how incredibly trippy Disney's movies used to be.) Naked Lunch, Cronenberg's film. Carnival of Souls (ZOMG!) Also, back in the day when they used to show music videos all day and all night, they had time to play obscure videos from non-top 40 bands. Some of those were great. And the USA Network had Nightflight movies...And Reel Wild Cinema Ok, off-topic. But I really enjoyed tripping out with that stuff.
Hey, that's cool that you've seen it, Dreaming. That makes us two of about 100 total persons...But it is awesome.
Waking life, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE MIND (btw dont watch the trailer, it makes it look 10x worse than how actually amazing the movie is)
70s Sesame Street. Trippiest shit ever. Except maybe for Beebo. Correction: the trippiest shit ever is when they do the Rosary on the Eternal Word Television channel. They show cathedral interiors and play a chorus of men and women chanting the Rosary over and over and it goes on for half an hour, but it can seem like weeks! Holy Mary, Mother of God!
"City of lost Childern" is so intensely surreal. I probably wouldnt watch it while tripping tho.. need to read the subtitles ^.^
Easy Rider Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail Porn with costumes and a storyline...like the classics The Opening of Misty Beethoven or Behind the Green Door, or new ones like Pirates! or The Craving.
Really enjoyed that movie, the end really moved me, especially "his" lament for having to leave the world. Really bizzare but rewarding watch.
i prefer the subtitles because then you can still hear the original vocal inflections of the actors you're watching, even if you don't understand their words. that said, the voice over is actually pretty well done for this one.
