anyone here from NY/NJ who knows of Q104.3? If only they didn't air commercials every **** 3 minutes. >:-( I think they're controlled by clear channel too.
My favorite classic rock radio station is Arrow Classic Rock FM 107.1 Why? Because it is here in Amsterdam.
Jaz, it seemed that the only thing they didn't 'ban' was the song by the purple idiot dinosaur "I Love You (And You Love Me)". The List Ve vill do your thinkink for you, don't vorry.
The Drive... Rock and Roll history and music all in one station Top Ten at 10 (both 10am and 10pm) "Music is like a place holder in time; capturing the spirit, struggles and hopes of the moment. As we look back on milestone albums and the artists that produced some of the greatest music ever made, we remember the events and atmosphere that shaped those recordings and the world’s reaction to them. Each morning at 10, The Drive’s Bob Stroud will pick ten great songs from one great year that encapsulate that moment in time." Rock and Roll Roots - "Rock 'N Roll Roots with host Bob Stroud airs every Sunday from 9am to 12 noon on The Drive. Roots is a Chicago institution with a 20 year history on the radio airwaves. Bob Stroud demonstrates his vast rock & roll knowledge and spreads his musical wings for our Sunday morning entertainment." Live at Five - "Phil Manicki features some of the greatest live recordings in rock on The Drive’s Live at 5." Gotta love it!
Torontos own Q107 Psychedelic Sundays is the best classic rock you will hear anywhere. Check it Out at www.q107.com
direct tv radio played 'Bike' by Pink Floyd!!?? wow, that is a bold pick. i have never once heard that on any radio station. "i've got a bike you could ride it if you like...it's got a basket, a bell that rings and things to make it look good. i'd give it to you if i could but i borrowed it." haha, syd barrett seems so tripped out in that song haha
100.7 wzlx in boston is pretty sick... Also, the classic rock station on OnDemand is good. OnDemand is the cable service from I think it's atnt... I forget, it's all the same money-making machine anyways.
