I love the Beatles. I went to see Rain a month or so ago, it was great.

The "Beatle maniacs," are way better that "Rain," but who can compare to the real Beatles?

The beatles are the best band every and they have a lot of tribute bands which is great. But we went to Benidorm last year and we saw a Band that sounded nothing like them and they added jokes in the routine, which were the same all the time. We caught the last part of the act a couple of times while waiting for new acts to come on and word for word the act was the same which would not have been to bad if the music was ok, but they were an insult to the beatles because they sounded nothing like them

 

I wish the Beatles were still around, so that I wouldn't have to listen to crappy tribute bands. Their music from an Ipod is just not the same as live, even if it is from a horrible tribute band.

The Beatles are quite possible the greatest band ever. But you have to respect the Stones man. Just listen to Let It Bleed or Beggars Banquet. Like the Beatles they were decades ahead of their time.

Oh, and BraveSirRobin is making a joke everyone...

 

I'm not going to lie. I think the Stones are actually fairly overrated.

I think I got Beatlesed-out...listening to the Beatles for too long. They don't seem as special anymore. I am just now becoming interested in the Rolling Stones, though. *shrug*

the Beatles are fab gear, baby! comparing them with the stones though is like apples and oranges - both very tasty treats, and together they make ambrosia, nectar of the Gods!
