this is an oil painting I did when I was 15yo

 

Beautiful pictures, i am happy to see them as they were. People love them even now as much as they used to in the past.

You have a very good eye for detail, and a lot of talent. What did you use for the Beatles sketch?

yours is so remarkably like paintshop pro though
or serif draw

Nice! I love it. lol I actually suck at computers and never used photoshop or anything like that but always wanted to. I'm best at free hand drawing. I love drawing and painting

Do you ever use charcoal, as an alternative? (BTW Thanks for the pencil-guide. I want to create more detail sketches, too, and need to work on dimension and detail, so talking to someone that knows helps).

If that really is a freehand drawing that you done then its really pretty good ! good enough to get you into a top art college

 

I think it's superb, too. I also like making sketches, but they're nowhere near as good as these. When I look at drawings like the Beatles sketch, though, I study them to see how the artist has used the pencils, putty eraser, etc. So thanks for posting those pictures, and if you have more please let's see them.
