Pink Floyd for sure, although I love The Beatles. Personally, I don't think Floyd had any weak albums. The Final Cut, The Division Bell, A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Wall to some extent are overlooked because they don't sound like work typical of Pink Floyd, rather then being poor albums. If Floyd had a weak peroid it would be around '69-'70 with Ummagumma, More and Atom Heart Mother, and even those aren't bad albums.

Oh, I think that it's impossible to compare them, it's like compare Hendrix & Clapton - they are so different! But as for me, I like Pink Floyd & Hendrix better!:rolleyes

I see what your saying, But More, Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, low points?

I can understand, because those are probibly the lesser known albums, but in my opinion, there perfection.....

I don't know Floyds as good as Beatles, so definitely BEATLES.

I like Pink Floyd a lot, but I like The Beatles even a lot more. Especially Abbey Road is one huge addiction :D

I wouldn't call them low points at all, I enjoy lisening to all those albums. As far as The Floyd finding their direction goes, those albums were essential. If we were to group their albums into groups of 2-3 in chronological order those would be least favourite. Don't get me wrong, I really don't see them as low points :)

maybe in your own little world, but those last three and especially The Wall are some of the most popular "classic rock" albums.

Notice I said "to some extent", you've obviously ignored that or didn't understand what it meant. These albums have been overlooked to the extent that fans who listen to the earlier, more psychedelic stuff are hugely dissapointed when they hear these albums, not to the extent that sales were affeted.

Its like Dylan touring in '65 with Highway 61, was that a bad album? No, so why did he get booed? Because it wasn't what his fans were used to. There's no need to insult me you know, epsecially when you misinterpreted what I said.

I actually didnt even see the words "to some extent" :D sorry

but The Wall isn't really overlooked at all. that has got to be one of the most popular albums of all-time, and its not even that good.

That's cool, no problem. I suppose The Wall is the second most well known Floyd, after DSOTM. I think The Wall is a very good album, but it is quite overated.

Unlike Dark Side of the Moon. To give Pink Floyd a compliment, that album is fantastic and better than any of the Beatles' early albums. I'll give them that.

I choose Pink Floyd even though it is hard to compare these bands. But Pink Floyd is my favorite band so they get the nod.

Meddle, Animals, Obscured By Clouds, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, A Saucerful of Secrets, and Darkside of the Moon are my favorite albums. (In no particular order although Meddle is my favorite.)

I really do like The Wall since it is very different from their other albums and I like The Trial and Comfortably Numb, although I do dislike the Roger Waters dictatorship known as The Final Cut. I also couldn't get into Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell too much.

I voted for the Beatles. Lennon's voice alone sends them over the top, but then McCartney, Harrison, and (bless 'im) Ringo Starkey?! Get out of town with that Floyd shit. Bunch o' negative prissy bores dey was.
