There are certainly worse songs in the Beatles catalog. Wild Honey Pie comes to mind...

This would be one of the few singles that was not a hit for The Beatles. I remember the cover by Marmalade that was a no 1 hit. I did not know it was a Beatles song until I bought the White album.

It is said that one can tell a 'Classic song', when it passes the 'Old Grey Whistle Test' - ... and the lyrics (be they profound or pathetic) remain in your head . . .hmm, I wonder

"Here, there and Everywhere, For no one" = Two of their best ... IMO :)

Not lately. It's probably in my vinyl collection. I have a few on CD too. For years I listened to the white album on CD that I digitized from the vinyl but not long ago I came across this remixed version of it that looked legit so I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised with the job they did. Clearer and more defined for the most part, not overly compressed, and a bit of difference in presentation of how things sat in the mix. It was made from the same recorded tracks as the original so it wasn't different enough to be a turn off, but rather nicely done.
