Am I the only one here that felt like the movies were a let down after the books. Harry was as I wanted him to be but nothing else was right.

 

They are a let down, but I'm a visual person so it's better for me.

 

Movies usually are. Have you seen Sphere? A good example.

 

No. Whats it about?

 

It's based on a novel by Michael Chriton(how do you spell his last name again?) about this underwater facility. The book was great. The movie lacked even though Dustin Hoffman and Sharon Stone were in it.

And Hannibal was another example. The book was so beautifully written. The movie was just "OK"...

 

I'm pretty much always dissapointed in these circumstances. But then I just go home and read the book to get all the details I miss.

Anyway... so I'm at work, bored out of my mind and have 45 min till I can leave. Tonight is going to be a great night. The temporary patch for my car was put on today so I can have my baby back for a couple weeks till the new roof comes in. I have a game, district playoffs and if we win we go to states, where we've never even won leagues so it's a big deal. Celebration after with my girls.

Is it sad that I'm hoping to be invited to something else though, something with people that don't annoy me maybe.

Well we lost, 21-3. But honestly I'm glad we lost tonight at the district title game then losing the first state game(which most likely would have happened). I guess from being cold weird things happen, but my ankles are swollen. I haven't slept since Wed. so I decided to come home tonight and sleep, so no partying for tonight.

Hacker, I would love to try out that lovesac.

Ok, and when I'm done I'll bring over my pumpkin spice bread that's in the oven.

 

MMMMmmmmMMMMMM!!! Are there white raisins in it?

 

No. Cranberries and almonds. I'm in a major mood to just bake like a banshee right now. Once the bread is done I'm making baklava and some oatmeal raisin cookies. By the time my mom wakes up we'll be able to open our own bakery.

 

I'm doing an enchilada casserole in a bit myself...

I was checking out what I had in the house, and I have everything I need for it, so that's what I am doing...
