thanks for posting the details on why it's bad to smoke clay...i had a hunch but forgot...

and twang (nice name) sounds like you've got it covered. i've heard of that trick before i think...small layer over the hole, good idea.

but now i look and think i do see a hole near the bottom. or a slit.
it looks sweet as hell, but a picture doesn't give the whole...picture? i dunno, i can't see enough 3D. i'd probably have to hit that bong to fully appreciate it

Natural hazelnut flavoring is the exact same chemical as the the artificial except with trace amounts of cyanides in it. Sure nature is beautiful but it is to be respected like everything else.

 

do you need a kiln (sp?) to fire clay?

 

I am pretty sure you do. The only thing about glazing it is make sure you get the entire inside too if you go through with it.

i told you. make pottery with it. make little sculptures. but they won't be completely hardened. what the hell else can you do with clay?

 

i think somebody said to make an ashtray with it, so i'll make a cool looking ashtray.

 

i bet you could make something and just buy a screen from a head shop that way you wont be smoking the clay and w/e the fucks in it.

 

a screen as in like one that is on the outside of windows? I don't think that would work since the reason people say smoking out of unfired clay is the chemicals you take in from the smoke, and not the actual clay.

you could just buy a glass bong and cover it with clay.

 

that would defeat the purpose of actually having the clay.

 

that doesn't matter. just breathing through the clay (heated or not) is not very safe. unless it's fired (and probably glazed) the small clay particles (or silicone or whatever that one person said) are gonna enter your lungs.

 

oh man i didn't mean to defeat any purpose... just glass = clean for lungs and clay = cool looking.
