The arrogance of the US women's soccer team... glad they lost!

The complete disrespect this team showed to its competition, and to the country they supposedly represented was reprehensible. SOOOOO glad they lost, they deserved nothing more than to lose.

Somebody needs to tell Megan Rapinoe a good life lesson is, if you're going to engage the entire sane world in a rock throwing tantrum, it's best to never throw your biggest rock straight up!

 

I thought they played hard. The controlled possession and got way more shots. The defense was fantastic. They just don’t have a finisher. I didn’t find them disrespectful at all

I don't know them out of the playing issue. In that field you are who know them. What concern only to the game with Sweden, US girls deserved to win. They played better and had the better opportunities to goal. But football(soccer for you) is sometimes unfair. I, as an Argentinean like fútbol (football /soccer)

 

It seems the coach is still around with his silly right wing blather. Personally, I'd rather take a beating than watch ANY soccer game, but Americans can't be expected to win everything in which they compete. Sometimes you win---sometimes you lose. Ho--hum.

 

Agreed, Rapinoe is certainly an empty vessel indeed. We can now only hope her empty noise is now over.

Rapinoe is a target of rightwing political correctness. Lesbian, Blue hair, feminist, outspoken on issues, kneeling in support of Colin Kaepernick. Who cares about her athletic record? The "Coach", the Donald, and other Retrumplicans seem to care more about her politics than her athletic accomplishments. Spoilsports !

 

You guys seem to be more concerned about politics than football. I don't know who this girl is, I don't care about domestic USA issues. I just like football and analize what I see in the field.
