i have to have something to show the human services guy that im trying. thats how we get the help money, including getting the mortgage covered for this month (eek.) i could make up the numbers, but im not like that. if im getting government help money, im also following the rules. im not cashing out to go boozing.

i do already have a plan for the holiday craft faire at the unitarian church. i can share a table with my mom, as long as i keep things priced under $10 (for the most part) i should be able to sell everything. higher priced things are more of a planned out purchase, not an impulse buy, so i wont make too many big ticket items. i will focus on pincushions, sewing/ craft kits, quilted wall hangings, maybe some paintings. stuff i can make fairly quickly. maybe crochet some hats. i will make a bunch of stuff, but only put a few items at a time out on display, so i can keep replacing them. make some business cards for custom work later. might really work out, or might go bust, but ive been collecting craft materials for a looooong time, so im not out any material costs up front.

i wish the website testing one didnt require quiet. they would probably have more tests if i knew i could spend 30 minutes at a time doing live screen capture tests, or phone interviews as i test, but i cant guarantee the baby doesnt wake up and need to be fed. so 5 minutes at a time is the best i can manage. i just have to be making an effort is all.

im sleepy, i think its bedtime. :) zzZZZzzzZZZzzz

    Nope. I haven't driven in a while!

I feel like I haven't been here in ages, hasn't been that long though. I ended up going back to school for a bit. I moved to NYC for five months. I came back and started up a business. I now have two part-time employees. Things are going well and looking up.

The kid who used to post on these forums about God knows what seems dead. Things change quick, I guess. I feel old.

Jasper, I think the only place those poinsettias are going to grow into trees is in California, or in a steadily wonderful climate like what is out there. :)

    Those are beautiful trees. :daisy:

Ortus really great to hear your news an even better that life seems to be good for you right now. :)

Jasper I had no idea they could grow like that and those trees are stunning. My poinsettias look like crap by the end of the season. Not sure if they would make it to spring to even get put outside. :)

Went for breakfast with a friend and then hit a couple of thrift shops/antique places. Found a clock for my niece that I am going to put away for part of her Christmas gift. She is crazy about cats and the little fish acts as a pendulum on this one. She is going to love it.

Tonight is my mom's Church fall supper. Full turkey dinner with fresh baked pies for dessert. I look forward to this all year. :)

Thanks Lynn. Love those little shops that when you walk in you seem to just find something unusual that totally fits someone on your list. :)

It has begun. Half the channels on TV have a football game on. And they run this commercial with a guy saying he only spent $60 but he won 2 million betting on the football. Yeah right [IMG]

Me and my girlfriend are still together. We're planning on getting an apartment together soon. If someone can stand being with me for five plus years I must not be that bad afterall!

I did online surveys for a while. Finally got a chunk of change saved up. Went to cash them in and it wouldnt let me. Tried a few times in the following days with no luck. Said 'fuck that shit' stopped doing them unsubscribed and now i never do them with the promise of money or potential prizes. I will still do some when it is something i am interested in but that is rare now.
