My former mother in law had a plant that she kept. It grew a beautiful vine that she trailed all over the walls in in living room.

There was a time (years) that The Mother would insist on trying to keep this pitiful poinsettia going and all it would do was grow taller and stragglier...it got "disappeared".

    hehe

I have an appointment with a college counselor in early October. The first step of the transition.

Financial aid, grants, scholarships, moving 100 miles and everything else that will take place over the next 11 months.

I am so sick of pounding nails, its time to give college a 2nd try after 8 years of life experience, I know what ima do. I'm excited, life changes, for the good.

    Good for you Broony!!!! :)

Aeri that must have been pretty when it trailed on the walls. I would love to do that with an ivy, someday. :)

That is great, Broony...the best possible move you could make, especially now.

You are still young (enough ;) ) for this to make a total, enormous, wonderful difference in your life!

For real, if I could go back to school and get a masters for free in horticulture (which is what I'd want), it still wouldn't make all that much difference in my life at this point. Truth is truth. I'm about old enough to retire, which I will...and I will continue to take care of this house and 2 7/8 acres. I'm just saying my life is too set at 58, soon to be 59, to even think about climbing a mountain like going to college.

Hey thanks... it felt really good to finally make the call. 11months to get ready will be right to transition correctly so im not rushing anything. When I go back I don't plan on working, I just want to focus on studys.

Thankfully for how much ive made over the last few years, and my marital status really helps. No credit debt nothing. Just kinda floating right now, which is a good thing.

I will be able to get the 90 credit degree and transfer to the main program in the same small city so I don't need to transfer anywhere. That is huge in itself. I also wont be far from home so I can still get out after a few hour drive in stead of booking a plane ticket.

    All good stuff.

I have one of those uncles on each side of the family. One died out but his son took his place.

My uncle is a "friend" I've had for 20 years.

She is a part of my character development. :) I come to decide this.

I cringe when she starts talking.

    She doesn't have a clue.
