I'm fixing to reveal something about myself...

Of the people I know, I am the loony one. shhhh

Surprisingly few people even close to my age (in r/l) can deal with loony AND someone that isn't stupid...seems to really throw them off. I've found young people are much easier to just "be me" around.

 

I was watching an AI robot today, sorry reading about one that is learning new words every day. It said to its creator that it plans to keep us in a "people zoo". Everybody laughed as if it were cute.

Ummmmm isn't this the problem with AI? This one has already decided we are completely inferior. =\

If I was the creator id be swinging baseball bats at the bloody thing right now to show it who's boss. I found it to be a threatening statement, not cute or funny.

Not saying it can't take over but it is highly unlikely. Even if skynet was real they would have to build themselves after they killed a few innocent people. We can't program robots to walk a straight line. How the shell are they going to work an assembly line.

 

Why the shell does the autocorrect keep putting an s in front of the word shell.

I don't think hell is a cuss word...its a place or a state of being

 

When I want to use Hell, it corrects me to he'll. and I'm like. In almost no circumstance ever am I talking about a guy.

Oh I know it's far fetched but still if this is the thought process of something so new...what happens when we get even better at making them.

 

I saw the Dumb and Dumber sequel tonight and it's basically the same plot as the first one. So many of the same scenarios and recycled jokes. When I was a kid it was a cinematic masterpiece. I think I watched it everyday one summer vacation so I must have high expectations but it's just not the same. I still laughed at some of the bathroom humor because like all males I am forever 10 but I saw the holes in it more. Also in this one they are much older and looking for the daughter one did not know he had. The other one is trying to bang her. It's not innocent stupidity he is a bad friend. It's hard to get past that and like the character.

 

When the humor gets too dumb I just can't find it funny. It's a reason I won't watch Will Ferrel movies much. I like Talladega Nights and StepBrothers but they were also full of "try too hard" humor. Even Jay and Silent Bob humor tried a bit too hard.

My favorite comedy would probably be Airheads. I could watch that daily like you did yourself you best believe I've done that with this movie too hehe. And although the humor was quite "dumb"
I think it was a good portrayal of that side of culture and stereotypes. Whereas dumb and dumber I can't relate to any of it. It's just dumb.

 

I just found out that someone I work with at the hostel was let go. Now I bitched and moaned about him for a long while but now that he's gone I kinda feel sad and bad for the guy. Completely on him, he was fucking useless. But the past few weeks had been so slow I just forgot about him and ended up talking to him instead of being angry at him. We weren't friends or anything, but I learned to tolerate him. Now he's gone. I hate my emotions sometimes, they make no sense. Here I was doing anything to get rid of him and now in about to cry that he's gone. =[

 

Soooo I made it across town for the Monday pool comp. and I won the first two round and now I'm into the final! Go me!!!

 

Well I sunk the 8 first!!
And the white bounced off the table and I lost on the foul. =[ FML. I had it won easy too.
