Fyrenza - I had forgotten about the Shroud of Turin! Duh, huh? Yeah, I've been reading books for several years that deal with cloning - and if anybody thinks the technology is not out there, and has not been being used in these genetic labs is simply burying their heads in the sand... and the Shroud of Turin would really be the perfect tool - to me, that just makes sense, And would aid in fulfilling prophesy. And as far as the majority of people believing an alien abduction story - easy, peasy - we are the country that actually voted GWBush in (the 2nd time) so Heck Yeah!
Regarding cloning - the cloning of mammals was Reported being studied in the 1980's, and as early as the 1960's transfering genetic material to/from fish and insects was Reported. Dolly, the sheep, was all the talk - and as a result, cloning was outlawed in the US (Not everywhere) - and of course, since it was Outlawed, that stopped it, right? I think not. I feel that by the time something like cloning is reported to the general public, it has already happened Many Times Over. It is easy to conceive of some of the big-brains geneticists using their own DNA Many years ago, studying, experimenting, etc. Just because in the US we are Supposed to know everything (and are sadly mistaken if we think we do), other countries don't even pretend that it is the right of every citizen to know everything about everything.

Look at it this way, when Jesus was facing unspeakable suffering and certain death, scourged and beaten beyond recognition, his entire life hanging from the steel driven through his hands, he had every right to see almost everyone around him as an Anti-Christ. And what did he do? He prayed for God to "Forgive them, for they know not what they do." What would YOU do? Peace and Love
i don't know that i understand, with all of my being, what my mind knows to be true, and in the face of excruciating pain, i would be hating the folks inflicting it, while at the same time recognizing that i once WAS them.

It's important to remember most suicide bombers end there lives for a twisted ideology not in the name of a particular individual. Sometimes the people who die and kill in this way have no extremist ties other than to Allah or the defense of what they consider to be holy land. Road side bombs are more the style of the militants although they are not above more drastic measures when an example is needed.
