the work is shut down for a bit ...roomie has a hernia surgery in the a.m....son starts school again tomorrow morning...both are leaving real early....so i will be being very lazy tomorrow and sleeping off and on all day...my7truck is fucked and i cant fix it tomorrow...i might even get drunk and bake special cookies...the kind you wont find on sesame street

Well my dad sees the doc this morning sometime; my sisters are dropping the girls off in a couple hours. I will let you know what the results are

I came down a hill toward a T-junction this morning....and the poxy brakes chose THAT moment to fail.

So,44 tons of laden articulated truck to stop,no brakes.

I thought "Hmm-this could be a tad painful,Puggybear",slammed the exhaust brake full on,slammed down through the gears....and quickly sacrificed a virgin I happened to have in the cab.

[that was lucky,eh]


I made it,but I REALLY don't know how.
The trailer tilted over so much I thought it was going to lay on it's side.
I retained control [well,I say control; my bum was chewing the seat and would argue that] only because I rode the steering axle against kerb on the far side of the junction,which brought the unit to a halt after circa 70 yards.

Turned out the air servo-pipe had split. Ergo-no brakes.

Fuck this trucking-I'm taking up extreme knitting!

An off-duty cop in Saugus, MA was arrested for leading police in a high-speed chase and having beer cans all over his floor.

They didn't give him a blood alcohol test. He'll be outta jail and at it again in no time.

He has to see a doctor in milwaukee . There is still a possibility it could be cancer but it looks like it could be treatable. They have to do another biopsy.
