The debate is over and most are saying that Kamala Harris won it easily, except for the Trump supporters who are saying the opposite. If Trump lies they say she lies. If Trump is condescending they say she's condescending. There's just no getting through to those people, but I feel assured that those on the fence are now planning to vote for her.

And coming from somebody like Cheney, Bush's back door evil henchman, that's a lot more than the pot calling the kettle black. I wonder how ol' Dickie is enjoying the new heart he bought....I was always amused that a sick old man got moved to the top of the transplant list.

I'm surprised that Cheney took the time off from yanking wings off of flies in order to even make a statement. I'm sure, somehow, this benefits Halliburton.

Taylor Swift has endorsed Kamala Harris for President.

Will Taylor Swift’s Kamala Harris endorsement actually matter?

Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.

Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.

I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.

I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early. I’ll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story.

      With love and hope,

      Taylor Swift

I welcome Taylor Swift's endorsement. She's an entertainer and not a politician, but if she can get some of her Swifties to vote for Kamala Harris, great!

I find it fascinating that Trump really seems to be on his heels. I am not used to that at all. He’s having trouble even maintaining his usual blustery persona. The confidence he projects now seems like posturing instead of the actual confidence I was used to seeing. Harris is in a far stronger position than I would have believed a couple of months ago.

That said, I still just see two wolves up on stage and a bunch of sheep being herded into the voting booths. I long ago lost confidence in the old parties having any sliver of actual care for what happens to you and I. The game of politics is really all they care about, and the fallout is something they’ll just have their PR people paper over with some speech and talking points. Now, it doesn’t help that I don’t feel spoken to by either of their platforms, but I really wish both the RNC and DNC would burn to the ground and start new. Better yet, ban all current personnel from participating in any party formation going forward, and impose an immediate ban on all current reps and senators from seeking re-election. Would that fix everything? No, but I’m hoping we would at least get something that’s both less toxic and less vapid.

Some of the bullshit is outrageous. Continued harping on the economy. Ranting about Bidenomics, and border control has become boring. You're not running against sleepy Joe you dumb ass! On the other side the stance is the same old putting a chicken in every pot crap. Cut taxes and build houses? Build up the middle class? Oxymoronic propaganda. Please tell me how you can build 3 million houses without the money to do it with? Oh and this shit about putting limits on grocery prices. What bullshit! It costs x dollars to put food on the shelves and that's that. If there's anything that needs to be regulated it's the cost of fuel at the pump. It's done with electricity, natural gas, insurance and more. Why the fuck can't fuel prices be regulated too? Do that and food delivery costs will come down. Both sides want the country to become a socialist republic.

It's like being on a long flight. The stewardess pushes the trolley up to your aisle, and asks if you would prefer the chicken, or the steaming pile of shit with broken glass?
The undecided voter asks how the chicken is cooked.
