I guess it's time to start talking about it. Biden, 80, has announced he'll be running for re-election. Trump, who will be 77 in June, is currently the leading candidate in the GOP, but with his legal hassles he might not end up being nominated.

I was hoping each party would come up with a new candidate for next year, and while it still might happen, at this point it appears it will be a Biden - Trump rematch. :confounded:

I'm not unhappy with the job Biden has done but I wish he was at least 10 years younger. As for Trump, have I ever told any of you that I'm not a fan? Yes? I thought so!

Anyway let's see how it all unfolds over the next year and a half. Hope the shit doesn't hit the fan!

I was certainly hoping for someone younger and charismatic to step up to the plate... someone with moderate center of the road thinking instead of the radical divisive culture war bullshit we are presently experiencing.

Well, I don't think Biden could not run again, then he'd be like admitting he wasn't fit for the job. I'm going to pull for RFKJ.

You're half right, Trump clearly doesn't give a flying fuck about the average citizen, not even his supporters.

I feel Biden is too old. Ditto with Trump, and I also feel he's too corrupt, abrasive and incompetent.

Biden believes he can still get the job done until he's 86. I'm skeptical, we'll see.

It’s okay boomer part 2 - even though I think they’re both too old to be boomers! It’s emblematic of this pattern of the arrogance and selfishness of these older generations. Its time to pass the leadership torch

DeSantis is expected to announce he's running sometime around mid-May. Might be difficult doing that while battling Mickey Mouse and the Enchanted Kingdom.
