No No No No No its always been miles Here
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mile

The modern English word mile derives from Middle English myl and Old English mīl, which was cognate with all other Germanic terms for "miles". These derived from apocopated forms of the Latin mīlia or mīllia, the plural of mīle or mīlle,[n 1]literally "thousand" but used as a clipped form of mīlle passus or passuum, the Roman mile of one thousand paces.[1]

that wasn't the drivers fault......your parents obviously didn't teach you how to drive....number one rule,,,do not swerve if you are about to hit an animal...it could cost you your life.....if that dude had of swerved he'd have piled up on a tree and be dead and who knows...maybe he has children....

you draw way to much conclusion from such a short video......

If he was speeding the impact would have been way worse and the bear wouldn't have got up and run off

i dont mind the videos that catch the accidents while they happen but those people who stand there recording the injured and dying (or dead people) should be punched in the crotch with a 5 lb sledge

I would feel so bad if that was me. Hope the bear is OK. It ran off but that might be adrenaline.

Tonight we bounce down the Main Street with Waylon Jennings banging out the truck. :punk: I think I've a slight crush on the guy, he's funny looking, big looking, like big Hoss with the slight long hair. Looks like he'd be a good fuck. ;)

    :D

I like it much better than Guy Clarke but I didn't buy the essentials or anything I bought a 10 album pack. :)

So I think the honky tonk is the style of electric guitar country music?? It sounds honky tonky I guess? :D wtf is honky tonky?? I feel like a child trying to say tonka trucks. :D :D

Once again, thank you for your wonderful input and personal attack on me. I was talking about the speed in which these kids were going not how they should have swerved or not swerved....Guess you never lost any fur babies to going too fast, reckless drivers.....or anything, right/. I can feel like how I want.

and I am so tired of seeing so much road kill on roads where there shouldn't be any if going at speed limits.

Mally, hope you don't have the same kind of traffic to deal with.
My drive involves 3 freeways, 91>55>22 and then the reverse coming home. Along that is a junction of multiple freeways 22/57/5 and is known as "the Orange Crush". it is so infamous that it even has a Wikipedia listing:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_Crush_interchange
and the section I have to pass through is on the 22 and at the height of rush hour can take 30-40 minutes to travel 3 or 4 miles, than I have to pass through another section on the 91 that takes about the same length of time to travel ~5 miles.
The same drive at night or when traffic is light takes me about 30-45 minutes. My best time was at late night and took me ~25 minutes
Night before last it was one of those "everybody have a fender bender" kind of nights and took about 2 hours to get home and last night was the opening day of the Orange County Fair which means the 55 and 22 are parking lots!!!

I will say that one of the things that helps a bit is that along the 91 you average 80mph, if you drive legal and at 65mph, you are gonna cause accidents. My boss at work thinks I'm nuts when I tell him I average between 85-95mph on those stretches.
Hell the other night I blew past a CHP going 90 and he didn't even blink, they tend to only stop assholes driving reckless or weaving in and out of traffic, but if every one obeyed the speed limit, it would take 6 hours....LOL
