didn't really have a winter last.. cold a bit and hardly any snow..

 

rootbeer with vodka was getting expensive so i bought some vodka and added it to a bottle of rootbeer

i added too much vodka though...doesnt taste as good as usual

I saw a beer today:

I Blue Myself brewed by Labrewatory as an Saison / Farmhouse Ale style beer..

At least two of the people I had worked for clearing brush and cutting trees back in 2002-2003 lost their homes to that fire... I've seen photos of one of those homes. Stonework and chimney are still there, that's all. Second home would have been their neighbor and they were in a more fire prone, hard to reach area.

The area where my old cabin is located is under evacuation advisory. Seeing as the fire missed the town of Mariposa the fact that the fire is still raging in the foothills isn't news anymore.

 

I have a good friend here that just flew to bc because her mom is evacuated for those fires......I dunno about you tyrsowood but I couldn't handle another fire...I think I would just become a marauder and never settle down again

 

I think I would just walk into the flames muttering something like "fuck this shit".....
