That song that always eludes you

Do you have a song stuck in your head, but can't for the life of you remember what it is?
Just know a few words or maybe a melody, but don't remember the whole song?

You may also record yourself humming the melody or playing the riff on guitar and let us hear so together we can find that elusive song for you!

 

There was a guy here that did that hum thing and everyone jumped all over his shit for it. It just made me laugh really hard. I think he may have added some na na's in it too. hahaha.

 

no, but i have a taste from my childhood that i keep remembering and have been trying to place for a few years now.

 

I missed that one, maybe he can revanche himself by doing an amazingly pitch-perfect hum this time.

 

I think they figured out what song it was if I remember correctly.

 

That is exactly what I hope to accomplish with this thread as well.
Happy people who can sleep at night knowing what that elusive song is that kept them awake for many a fortnight.

 

You start!!! Post yourself humming or something. Usually if something like that happens I google lyrics until I can come up with it. Usually what happens to me is I'll wake up with a random song in my head and I'll sing it all day. I'll feel like I can't do anything with my day until I listen to the song.

 

I don't have a song at the moment that I would like to find out, but when I do I will definately record what I know of it.

Now it appears it's always the songs that I don't like that get stuck in my head.

 

Came out around 1997-1998 a man and woman singing to each other, sounds like it's from a much earlier time.

Can't even remember any of the lyrics, it has been driving me crazy for YEARS.

 

LOLOL i remember that i laughed so hard. I remember expecting a serious attempt at replicating the sounds of the song, than came the NAA NAA!

 

You might need to give a bit more info. Maybe the genre of music or humming the part you know.
