Do you have a song stuck in your head, but can't for the life of you remember what it is?
Just know a few words or maybe a melody, but don't remember the whole song?

You may also record yourself humming the melody or playing the riff on guitar and let us hear so together we can find that elusive song for you!

I missed that one, maybe he can revanche himself by doing an amazingly pitch-perfect hum this time.

That is exactly what I hope to accomplish with this thread as well.
Happy people who can sleep at night knowing what that elusive song is that kept them awake for many a fortnight.

You start!!! Post yourself humming or something. Usually if something like that happens I google lyrics until I can come up with it. Usually what happens to me is I'll wake up with a random song in my head and I'll sing it all day. I'll feel like I can't do anything with my day until I listen to the song.

Everybody blah blah blah I don't wanna be in love I don't wanna be in love.

    I think it's good Charlotte.

Now it appears it's always the songs that I don't like that get stuck in my head.

Came out around 1997-1998 a man and woman singing to each other, sounds like it's from a much earlier time.

Can't even remember any of the lyrics, it has been driving me crazy for YEARS. :(

Yeah, I posted about it here but nobody ever heard of it.

    Some of the lyrics were:

Well, I'm a long hair hippie,
I wear a long sting of beads.

    (He's a long hair hippie,
He wears a long sting of beads)

Well, I'm a long hair hippie,
I wear a long sting of beads.
When I go go walking down the street,
People say, "Whoee look at that hair!"

    And that's all I remember.
It doesn't seem to exist anywhere but in my head.

You might need to give a bit more info. Maybe the genre of music or humming the part you know.
Just a shot in the dark, even though it's definately not from the late 90s:
