    :)

Does anyone else here love Thai as much as I?
I truly cannot but help but fantasize
About steamy dishes and Pad Thai
It is like bliss in my mouth and I ask God why?
Why does Thai have to make me feel like Im high!

    LOL Im being silly now.

Has anyone had any success making Thai Food? Got any good Thai recipes or websites. Im not the best cook but I am willing to learn.
Im craving THAI 24/7 and I love it!

Oh please, I could eat Thai or Szechuan every day for the rest of my live and be content. As long as it is 5+ stars!

And actually, capsaisin (the thing that makes peppers spicy) has been proven to release endorphins which make you feel happy and/or calm. That would be why Thai food makes you high... and why many who eat it often consider it comfort food.

    Yeah, I love Thai food!!

I can make a pretty good vegetarian Thai curry. I make it intuitively, so I don't have a recipe, but here are the main ideas:

    1-2 cans of coconut milk
a spoonful of Thai Kitchen brand curry paste
a few tbs of soy sauce
a few tbs of brown sugar

simmer the above ingredients for a few minutes then add:

whatever vegetable you like (mushroom, bell peppers, onions, pineapple are all good choices.
you can also add fried tofu
a handful of fresh chopped basil

serve this over some steamed rice!
