It truly is light-years beyond insanity that, for the past several years, there has been so much intolerance and hostility, especially regarding political parties.

These days, between the rash of sickening anti-Semetic attacks that have been steadily on the rise the past few years, the banning of books, and, an almost cult-like political climate, I am seeing far too many echoes of the Third Reich and the monumental rise of the Nazi party, in 1930's Germany.

"Freedom of speech", in too many instances these days, is now a privledge reserved for only certain groups.

If ever there was a time for us "good people" to stand together in solidarity against a fierce, formidable and unrelenting enemy, that time is most certainly now.......

Okay so the guy is a certified looney toon. They say the quiet ones are the ones you need to look out for (but not always). An isolated loner who gradually bought into all the QAnon conspiracy theories. In any large movement you'll get extremists; this one had a hammer, the next one might have a gun.

 

"Extremists" are the truly dangerous ones.

They know no scruples, no morals, no restraint, and will stop at nothing to achieve their own twisted, misguided goals.

These are the dangerous ones who can twist the Bible around to fit their own bigoted views, who can brainwash millions with the insidious venom they spew, the ones who are truly a threat to us all.

So much we have taken for granted.......so much we now stand to lose.

 

However, extremist cannot survive without the uninformed gullible simple fools that are so easily coerced to follow them.

Back in the Roaring 20's, there were "sluggers"/"strong-arm boys" at polling places in Chicago to ensure that you were going to vote in "gangster-friendly" candidate......when you see what insanity is transpiring these days, you cannot help but think of such tactics.......

Nicholas Roske, a California man armed with a handgun, a knife, pepper spray and burglary tools was arrested near Kavenaugh's Maryland home. He threatened to take the Justice's life. Yeah these attacks on public office holders are getting out of hand. But the attack on Pelosi was actually carried out, unlike the one on Kavenaugh.
