Sequels seem to lessen the value of the originals. If there had been one Rocky and one Jaws---those would have been all time classics as say---Taxi Driver--Blade Runner and other one-offs. Now, Terminators one and two were an exception, I think. Beyond those---from what people have said ---maybe the last two were made to milk ($$$) the ideas. Trancers is another one I liked---sequels--not so much. It has been said that Nichoson and crew were going to make a sequel to one of my favorite movies--Goin' South. The talk has died out and probably won't happen, but that one I'd see for sure. " I'm talkin' ALL DAY LONG!
It wasn't as bad as I thought, though corny. The last half or third really fell apart. I didn't like the whole cyber thing. I thought the remake parts were off on dialogue and could have been better. But I'd watch it again. I thought the girl was super cute and resembled Linda Hamilton. I only found out by over hearing she's the blonde girl on game of thrones.
She did look a bit too frumpy at times, and awkward carry the guns Hamilton was so butch and believable, especially in the scenes in the pysch ward, that was acting Clarke is a bit too girly for both this and her role in game of thrones, i kind of find it annoying, she is supposed to be this badass mother of dragons leading a medieval army, but winces at the thought of gladiator fights
I just watched T-2 this week and forgot how much Linda Hamilton turns me on in that movie. (I like girls that look & act like boys)
Kyle Reece looked nothing like he did in the original and I didn't particularly like the character who played John Connor either. I don't mind the frumpy girl parts, Linda never looked skinny in T1 from memory, what with her big bushy hair and all.
