I’m still going to see it for myself. It’s entertainment, not sure why people get bent out of shape on plots and accuracy, especially for SCI-FI and fantasy themed movies.

Because they want it to be at least as good as the predecessor(s). Which it could be. So its a disappointment when it isn't even close to the original/predecessor.
Also, its a great misunderstanding that just because it is scifi or fantasy anything goes plot or accuracywise.

This far into it, with all the other Terminator movies that have passed, and all the years since the original came out, how can we expect it to be “close”? I’m just an Arny fan, I guess.

Still dont really understand why the world hasnt found another Arnie, Stallone or especially another Clint.

We have The Rock, new age action hero, but no real great action heroes the last couple decades

Especially another Clint, ready want a Clint for this generation

Clint Eastwood is awesome!! It would be cool if Clint's son could step up and fill in. He looks just like him!

Eh, I never really cared for Clint Eastwood. Like the movies were fun but as an actor.. Eh.. Have a smile mate.

Excuse me, Captain. This may seem silly, but - can you fly?

Mel Gibson in the Mad Max trilogy was pretty good too. Gibson himself is nutz, however.

Doesn't seem to make him less of an actor (or director).

Terminator movies should not have gone on after the 3rd movie.

    First 2 are magnificent.

    3rd movie is average.

After the 3rd movie, they are awful.

    Thats my ratings.

    No Tom cruise either

Irms hit the nail on the head, I was referring to that toxic masculinity kind of stuff. I have watched Cruise in more movies and loved more movies with him than any other action hero, but he always plays good guys, as does Ford. Stallone and Eastwood play anti-heroes a lot, Arnie, a lot of shit gets blown up

Guys in the generation before yours are going to be more into Clint, but him especially, we havent had another one like him emerge in 30 years. A guy that can hold a movie together with just his face.

Russell Crowe was that guy for a liitle while, but didnt do enough cop movies, and seemed to prefer donning fat suits and playing politicians

The Rock can copy the same format as Arnie, but there is just some X factor thing about Arnie I cant put my finger on that makes him more watchable

No, Eastwoods son was a lot better looking than him, there was that one western they made where they tried kick start him as an action hero, but there were parts of that where he just looked like a male model and I thought I was in a Versace commercial

That Hacksaw ridge was a really really good movie, but for some reason they felt they needed to CGI the cliff, which was bizarre and too distracting, if not for that, would have been the best war movie in decades
