You live in Canada and you want to come to the USA?

    Why?

Go to BC that has all that you need.

Either that or go to Portland, OR or a city outside of there.

Close to mountains and to the Ocean. It is also a cool as hell city with lots of things to do.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to leave Canada to come to the US.

TN, well, they are a different breed down there. I didn't enjoy my time there, but I suppose it's not for everyone. I must add though, they are some CrAzY ass drivers. I didn't see a cop but maybe once on the long stretch of highway I drive through. That could be a positive, but like I said, they be driving loco.

Oregon has got it made. Ocean? check. Mountains? check. Wildlife? check. Cool cities and cool people? check. Employment is a bit iffy but it's not alone.

I concur with whoever mentioned Mpls. I love that city. Can't wait to move back this summer.

I've been to Memphis, and it was nice. I certainly wouldn't live there.

Portland I'd move to in a second. assuming we're talking about Oregon, not Maine, though I heard that's a nice one too.

SF is nice...but god damn its way to expensive. oh, and you better like very large hills :D

i wouldn't be able to live there - for a guy who likes to walk everywhere, its way to damn hilly for my tastes.

Seattle was cool when i went, but i really didnt' get to do much there. went to the main market - that was cool. walked around and it looked like any other big city. that was 6, almost 7 years ago.

    Go to Portland Oregon.

    You will love it there.:)

    Lots of fun!

If I was going to stay in the USA, I would move to Portland.

Portland is not on the Ocean but it is real close. A short drive.

But it is a fun place to be.

i lived in tennessee for about a year. it was beautiful beyond beautiful. the trees, the landscape, the southern style architecture, the southern food. my dad still lived in tennessee. he never wanted to leave. the weather can get muggy and hot, but for the most part i found it very mild. i would really love to go back and go for a drive like we used to.

mind you, i had very very very bad memories of tennessee for a very long time, but that had more to do with the hell of y family life than tennessee itself. it's very kitzchy, too.

I've only driven through Memphis, on my way to Texas. I always wanted to go and enjoy the blues clubs, but never got a chance.

I live in Middle Tennessee in a little tiny town called Hanging Limb.
It's great sometimes, then sometime's it just bores me.
all in all, I love it though.

There's not much to do in Tennessee, but it sure is a comfortable, homey place to live.

    mmmm...

    I dunno.
Savannah is really cool, but I wouldn't venture to say exciting. It's kind of hit and miss. sometimes it's great and sometimes it's lame.

    *shrugs*
