Just do what a group of marijuana advocates did here in Massachusetts by getting 10 qualified voters to write up a proposed petition and submit it to the office of the attorney general.

Once it’s signed by the AG and returned 80,000 signatures of certified voters are required to have the question on the next election ballot.

Exactly right. Where in the he'll do they dig up these old codgers from? No matter how old I get I hear the same kind of talk from old dudes.

We still have lawmakers in Georgia who think pot is the same as heroin.

 

I do wonder though, like with cigarettes! We were told it was harmless, but this is not true and the results in the end was lawsuits, chemicals, etc. Vaping has shown already medical issues with it. Long term effects of smoking are really not yet identified, but they do exist. In Canada there is a minimum age you can do it. I believe it is 25? You also have to have a med marijuana licence, cants smoke and drive, it is impaired driving, reducing reflex time, Not really familiar with the rules there in states. Smoking it a young age causes stunted growth, just like smoking weed as well as can cause problems in brain development,

here is an interesting article below. I don’t think there is enough research into it, personally. Not saying I have not done it myself, because I have, and I don’t object to legalizing it either. Kind of something i left behind in my youth. Just in years to come there will be lawsuits. Just like anything that alters the brain to help a person relax, sleep ext, your brain stops performing natural functions when it is replaced. I don’t know the long term effects, but I see lawsuits in the future,

I've been smoking it since 1976. So far I haven't moved up to heroin, but that was never my sort of thing. In the 80s I was selling computers and had a prescription for amphetamines I got from a quack in Memphis. I went on to win awards, cash and a cruise. Then the quack got busted and amphetamines were only prescribed by sleep clinics and the like. Getting them on the street also became nearly impossible.

Then I discovered meth! Then I learned how to make it!! Then I spent a couple of years strung out on it, still making a living in sales. But I finally beat my meth habit. By switching to crack. That was over by the mid 90s and I was back on the cannabis train from then on out.

I still think that burning anything and inhaling the smoke is not the best way to treat your lungs. But lungs on this planet have evolved to contend with this issue rather well. After all, we survived volcanoes, asteroids and forest fires that consumed entire continents. It's been a harsh ride.

 

anyone who has had to clean out their clogged pipe should have a pretty good idea that smoking pot is not great for their lungs. it does seem to be less bad than most drugs though, too bad it's so hard to actually do scientific research on it and find out real answers.

 

well they, the people here get to be the test subjects, those that are approved, licensed here. They get to go to the special clinics that are set up. You must be referred first by a doctor. You must’ve referred to see all specialists here, otherwise it won’t be covered. If approved after assessment they Do follow up visits to track progress or regression, check your health, etc.

years from now they will be sued for withholding info, falsifying documents, and fudging assessments or experiments in order to profit, etc. plus The government gets to tax it, plus it has hidden taxes.
