Isn't New York on the ocean though? Like.. The Statue of Liberty.. and if any of the end of world movies taught me anything, a big ass tidal wave will come through New York. =p

Oh okay so a bit further away then. I'm thousands of miles away.
Probably still too cold to go swimming anyway.

Sounds perfect. The streams here are colder than that and I went for a good 15 minute skinny dip the other day. ( 3x 5 minutes XD) If I had a tan it would have wiped it clean lol. I think I lost weight trying to heat up in there too. Cold water is good for burning off calories.

Finns are notorious for taking saunas in the winter, and then rolling in the snow afterwards butt naked....LOL

This weekend I am going to an open house at my favorite potter's studio. She has these twice a year and I always try to get out there to find something special.

saving up enough to get my 3d printer going again (or one with a better duty cycle so it won't burn out right away). that or possibly a vehicle so i can get to places a long way from cities of any kind.

or a cnc mill or laser cutter.

i might place another order with terminal hobby shop or maybe try pokeno or shapeways this month or next. just have to see how much i have after expenses.

i also need to get the other two inks for my regular printer before the ones i have dry out and have to be replaced too. those stupid things are rediculously more expensive then they ought to need to be.

there are other things i 'should' get, that i'm less looking forward to.

i look forward to fossil fuels getting too expensive to propel transportation that way.

i look forward to people of all political persuasions waking up and recognizing the many issues on which they have common cause. as indeed is already happening, much to the consternation of corporate oligarchs.

i look forward to longer and warmer days, but not to summer heat that will be here all too soon, and stay waaaay tooo long.

i look forward to seeing more green. i look forward to my natal day. though without expectation of the event being marked by anything more then automatically generated e-mails from some of the forums and other sites i frequent.

i look forward to seeing the world continue to change and continue to do so in ways unexpectedly both good and bad.

i look forward to bus and train rides i may yet take between now and then.

excitement isn't really my thing. but there ARE things i look forward to.

Moving away from the Midwest. It's awful here. Two years and a month.

I'm also looking forward to my cruise in a couple of months.

I forget all where but the Bahamas for sure. My husband booked it, and I don't recall all the details.

i'm looking forward to defending my thesis and getting my PhD in the end of July.

i kinda need to buy a car, because my wife and i only have one not-so-reliable one right now, but i can't say that i'm really exited for that.

and i'm definitely excited about my child being born early this coming December:eek:

i'm also excited for summer and my annual camping trip with my brother
