Hi,
By most standards, I would be considered attractive. I don't put much emphasis on outward appearances though. I believe that the inside shines through. My friends tell me that I am stubborn once I am on a quest (beliefs, books, poetry, conversing, sharing, yoga, meditation...I tend to immerse myself in whatever I am doing at the moment). I had not really thought about how I feel if people forget my birthday. I feel that I am changing always and every day can be the equivalent of a new birthday. I appreciate all kind communication at any time. However, saying that, your statement did trigger an unresolved resentment. I started remembering the number of birthdays that my parents forgot when I was a child. I tend to look at my childhood as another lifetime. So, at first, I balked at the idea that I would hate it if people forgot my birthday. Now............ thanks for making me think.
