You should try the invisalign things... my sister had them. They are these clear little tray things that you change every so often and they move your teeth and keep them in place. No metal braces on teeth, no rubberbands. They are clear so you can't tell that you have them on, and my sister never sounded like she had on braces. Now she just puts the thing on at night. Her teeth look great! My dentist (same as my sister's) keeps trying to get me to use them, but I don't have the money. My sister was in an accident and used part of her insurance settlement for the invisalign.

Well as most people know, I am going through some pretty hefty surgeries to get mine fixed. Less than two weeks to go now and I'll be good as new.

You young uns are so lucky... Us old farts thought it would be a good idea to start adding flouride to the drinking water about 30 years ago...looks like it's working. Good job PR.
I wanted to use those, but the guy I went to said they wouldn't work for me. I don't believe him, though... I've seen people with worse teeth get them. I might go get a second opinion one of these days.
I also have really nice teeth. I've never worn braces, and as of now, have never had a cavity. My dentist says that there would be only one problem with my teeth that would merit braces, but that it doesn't affect my bite, so it really doesn't matter. I don't have any pictures of them to post, though.
i have ok teeth, they are all straight except for a slight overbite and the gap in the front two, a no not like lawrence fishbourn
After 4 years of braces, rubber bands and head gear........ My teeth are in good shape. I often get complements by people on the straightness of my teeth. Which is a very odd compliment to get, I guess.................... ~namaste~
before i had braces my teeth were fucking HORRIBLE. i had to get the damn things because it was affecting my health. my bite was so screwed that i couldn't chew food properly which was resulting in digestion problems. so i had those babies slapped on when i was like 10, along with a few adult teeth taken out to make room. now my teeth are ok, i didn't wear my retainer as much as i should have when i got my braces taken off and then i lost it before it was time to get rid of it, so they've shifted a little. but it's ok, they have character.
I better have nice teeth for all the crap I had to go through to have them fixed. I had crooked teeth until I was 16 and then my mom slapped braces on me. But that wasnt enough..I had to have 8 teeth(4 wisdoms and 4 molars)pulled to make room for my teeth...then because my jaw was too small..I had to go through surgery...so now I have metal expansion plates in my upper and lower jaws..a chin implant..and I had to have my jaw wired shut for 2 months. I had braces for 2 years and the surgery happened the summer after I graduated high school.10 years later...I have excellent teeth, albeit, they have fillings but that's ok...atleast they are all real. and straight!
