I think they are using the term "Civic Duty" as the term they use being our nation's garbage pile, to try to not sound like our nation's garbage pile.

Yep. I hope this is the beginning of major defamation lawsuits to start putting and end to all this crap. This kid has about 10 media sources that have lots of money that are ripe for the plucking now. They all had him sinisterized in less than 6 hours and spewed hate all weekend that probably still continues today.

Then the individuals that posted to the social medias sites that can be tracked down. Man the attorneys have a feeding frenzy to feed off of from this!

Not to mention the school which likely has some legal rights to the threats they apparently received.

There is hope for our future if this kid uses this opportunity wisely.

Yea, I disagree with what he's saying too. i go to school with a million of kids slightly older than him. I'm sure that population is represented, but even the curriculum is starting to show a slightly liberal attitude about race or feminism or homosexuality. His generation seems to be all about equality; not whatever the world he's trying to put out there.

A great example is the Parkland shooting to me. Fox parades around the 5 or 6 students who agree with them. Meanwhile 100's march against. One is the hero of the nation one is a dumb kid when they are the same age.

Same thing with many young person issues. The right wing kids get lots of attention since the right wing media needs them to. But that does not mean they are in anyway a movement.

As far as the thread's topic it's great if these particular young men are innocent. However the general racist tone among white Trump voters is still an issue.

People see it where it's not warranted perhaps because of the 100 other times it is.

People have a biases. As much as you fight it when you see a person and do not know them you assume things based on how they dress and what they say. So a red hat is a hint that this stranger is an asshole. This person is probably concerned with white rights the expense of mine.

Hillary for prison, Obummer, or a coexist bumper stickers all hint about your life too. People make statements and others hear them.

Thanks for this. You gotta link for the same efforts for FaceBook?

My mom got called a racist when she asked where in the video it said Build the Wall. No less than 8 people attacked her online over it. She's 93. I plan on helping her out here.

    "slightly" ??!!?

    SMH

I was in school again 3 years ago going back for another degree. After 20+ years. There is nothing slight about it. I just suspect its been a slow but steady indoctrination over time. Chip away until its all eventually replaced. I know for a fact the standards are much lower than before. We had kids getting 45% on test that were there the next semester. Getting 45% on the next semesters courses.

A partial statement made by Nathan Phillips.

"Then, things got heated. They were in the process of attacking these four black individuals," Phillip said. "I was there and I was witnessing all of this ... As this kept on going on and escalating, it just got to a point where you do something or you walk away, you know? You see something that is wrong and you're faced with that choice of right or wrong. "

Man I need to see that part of the video.

A quick check and the same Nathan Phillips was involved in something similar.

In 2015, Phillips claimed that he was “bombarded by racial slurs” by students at Eastern Michigan University.

Native American drummer from viral video is from Michigan

Hmm. He seems to attract a lot of problems citizens.

  17. Actually I would expect someone in his position to attract more than two instances of racism in four years.

Yeah you'd think with the certainty the left has that the right are all racist, he'd be able to have untold dozens of clear cut instances to rely on. Instead of having to look like it's manufactured.

Dude, you're on point today! :)

I think that voting for Trump is one thing, and the Make America Great is something else. There are plenty of people who voted for Trump because he was the republican candidate. Then there's his base who believe in changing America to make it more conservative, or basically to change it to the disadvantage of people who are already disadvantaged. Those are not things that are negotiable in my humble opinion. Or ethical for that matter.

  20. Yea, who knew that threatening a school is a felony? Which is probably aggravated by the fact it's faith-based. A rather dumb move by all the dumbasses who think it's cool to make threats.
