Embarrassing enough, the ballad I most consider a love song is "Open Arms" by Journey. [IMG] That's what was playing during an intimate moment between me and two girls in my bed at age fifteen. I didn't have sex with either that night, and had lost my viginity a year earlier, but it was one of those special moments you take to your grave.

The song I most associate with sex is "Burning Down the House" by the Talking Heads because it was always playing in the background for some reason whenever I was getting lucky.

    Teenage love songs?

K-Ci and Jojo's, "All My Life" and Ushers, "A Nickel For Your Kiss" are the two that come to mind first.

As for sex....well.... "This is how We Do It" and "Romeo and Juliet" come to mind although I can't remember who sings either.

    why 'teenage'
do you mean when we were teenage?
cause all the Journey members were in their 30s when that song came out
same with Talking Heads for Burning Down The House

anyways, I am a total romantic, so just about any love song will do it for me =P

Lou Reed sings a great "Romeo and Juliet", yet that might not be the one you mean.

My sex life has been grimaced by Modest Mouse, Husky Rescue, Bob Dylan, and Charlie Parker tunes.

Maybe even one Sufjan Stevens song... but I was drunk, so I'm not sure.

    EDIT:

Oh yeah, and "Is She Weird" by The Pixies. I made sure to put that one on.

I should have said "sentimental songs" but that word didn't come up in my brain when I pulled the handle.

BTW capitalizing the "h" in Posthumous violates its pronunciation which is (pos-choo-mus).

Ahh...John Mayer made me melt when I was a senior. And the song "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain. But the Beatles were my thing in high school.

And as far as sex songs go... "Fuck Her Gently" by Tenacious D is always a great selection, as well as their equally popular tune "Kielbasa Sausage." And no, I'm not joiking, I did at one time have sex to both of those songs.
