i don't even know why you're arguing it. that was never even brought up, really, except to say both are bad for your body. there wasn't even the beginning of a comparison, except, really, in the seemingly automatic defense of the sacred herb.
I don't get defensive about anything other than a willful disregard for facts. i knew better than to speak rationally here. it won't happen again
i havent followed the conflict at all, but i can agree with this. i've known PLENTY of people who didnt smoke tobacco but had breathing difficulties from too much pot, or a smokers cough, though in my experience the side effects of tobacco far outweigh those of herb, and medically there are no known cases of cancer specifically linked to cannabis (unlike tobacco) but when it comes to coffee...damn, i love it, but i hate being overcaffeinated and lets face it, its not good for you except in very small amounts. all in all, i'd say using either one is likely equally bad for you, given comparable levels of consumption. still, nothing in the world is so pleasant on a lazy, spring saturday afternoon as a nice, rich, smooth, strong, dark black double espresso paired with a bubbler just PACKED with hashish....... a match made in heaven
whats your preferred tea? you and john like oolong a lot, right? i myself am partial to matcha (a type of green tea)
that's how ignorant Americans say it too. you can call it whatever you want, but that's just bloody wrong.
the very few times i've tried oolong i've enjoyed it, but my love lies with green teas, and most specifically matcha (though i also like bancha and genmaicha) spiced/scented black teas are good, and a few plain black teas, but i prefer green usually. i'd probably take oolong over black. i do love earl grey and constant comment, though oolong is a nice midpoint. what i dont like with black teas is the bitterness (in beer and other drinks i almost LOVE a good dose of bitterness, but i need my teas smooth and mild and no bite) but yeah, cant get enough of the matcha. actually, i've not had any in a real long time, and i'm having a hard time deciding if i want to go to the starbucks and try and convince them to sell me some (they have it, but only as an ingredient in other drinks, not as its own tea, and its pretty sweetened with sugar already) or if i want to go to the mom and pop and get a double espresso (theirs is far better than starbucks, but i dont know if they have matcha)
Yeah oolong is yummy and I love green tea too. I think I just love tea in general, with a bit honey and sometimes some lemon too. It just makes me feel good and brings me good memories. My mom used to make me ginger tea, directly from the ginger root, no tea bag or apple cinnamon (again not made from a tea bag) when I was feeling sick and it always made me feel so much better. It's like warm love on a cup.
ginger is GREAT for an upset tummy. all sorts of things it will fix. not heartburn/acid though. since you're all pregnant and stuff, i hear ginger is great for morning sickness and the like....stock up on some ginger teas and candies and stuff to help ginger is one of the most effective herbal medicines i know of, and one of my favorite blended teas is a combination of green tea and ginger
I have dried ginger right now, it has kept me alive. I do need to go get more. I learned that from my mom too, my mom is into all kind of natural remedies and always was giving me something when I was sick and I would complain so much about it, but now I just do the same things when I dont feel good. It's just not the same when you're doing it for yourself.
gingers the red head? ginger would be a beautiful spirit all healing and beautiful... or deformed looking like ginger root, who cares give me your hands of light
