I will have to try the toffee nut, I have tried the hazelnut before which was not so bad. I go to the same Starbucks every night between 7:00 pm. until about 9:00 p.m. been going since it opened up. So i doubt they would charge me if I didnt like it.

In fact those damn kids are so sweet I can go in and order six drinks (all special ones and venti) and it will cost me about $8. I do give big tips though.

and I agree, the iced machiatto is the best with the big chunks of carmel slurping up through the straw....their carmel is the best I think.

been trying to get my daugther to get a job there, as they do seem to work around college and school and such.

I think I will try the toffee nut tonight. :D

    sounds good....

    hazelnut is for the birds.
toffeenut is delicious. goes well in mocha, too. like a heath bar.

and if you add toffee nut to a strawberries and creme frappuccino, it smells and tastes IDENTICAL to crunchberries

mmmm i love coffee and tea both... hot or iced doesn't matter. tea is easier to make though, so i drink more tea than coffee.

crunchberries as in capt n crunch crunchberries? Never would have even thought of that combination.

I love the sumatra for regular coffee thats what I buy for the house. The Christmas Blend was good too.

christmas blend is alright. actually, quite nice, just not a personal favorite.

the anniversary blend is similar though. both feature aged indonesian coffees. very good with cheeses, oddly enough.

if you like regular coffee, you should try coffee made from a coffee press if you haven't already. much more delicious and flavorful.

some stores are unclear about this, but it IS on the menu now. it should cost a couple bucks, but its a lot of coffee and it'll be the best youve tasted i bet. very rich and flavorful. if they dont know how to ring it up, the french press button is on the misch menu :D

paper coffee filters trap most of the oils from the coffee, and its the oils which contain much of the flavor of the coffees. a coffee press uses a coarser grind and a wider, metal mesh to filter the grounds from the hot water, allowing far more of the flavorful oils into the final cup of coffee. sumatra is a very rich, full bodied coffee, and would be very much enhanced by being brewed in a press.:cheers2:

I bought my nephew a french press when he was over in Iraq. He loved it when he got to use it. I have considered getting a french press for work since the coffee downstairs is some generic brand of coffee that has not taste whatsoever.

I think the French Press would be good for camping too.

and I chickened out on ordering the toffee nut in my machiatto :(. Will maybe get the nerve up tomorrow.

The French press is great for camping, someone makes stainless steel one so it won't break and keeps is hot.

i love my good dark black coffee... but since i gave up smoking, it's just not the same. and i've been off caffeine now for so long it jacks me up something awful. so i stick with decaf once in a blue moon.

now that the weather is getting colder, i'm a chai tea fiend. it's so yummy!!!!

the only all metal ones I've seen are aluminum, which obviously, isn't an option.

you could probably find an old "alladin" thermos bottle (as they're about the same diameter as a french press) and put your press' lid on it, only big lameage is that you'd have to cut a hole in your french press lid so you could pour it.

Haha, I used to be the same way. :D Back when I lived in Brighton there was a Starbucks about a 2min walk away from my house, and if I didn't go there every day they would actually ask all worried where I've been. I do love my vanilla lattes, iced or hot depending on my mood. I still drink them occasionally however now it's mostly just tea for me.

Coffee, hands down. I find that tea simply doesn't give me the caffeine boost I need! I want hard core caffeine baby! ;)

I''ll drink tea all day but just one coffee ( normal or cappuccino) max a day.

Coffee on people's breathe is disgusting...
    Especially expresso.
