I know there are certain kinds of herbal teas you can drink to boost/speed up your metabolism, does anyone know which ones? I know Green Tea, and I *think* I heard that Peppermint does...anything else?

    Did I say something funny?

Ephedra has a LONG history of use as a stimulant in the form of a tea. In fact, the plant is also called "Mormon Tea", because it was widely used by LDS settlers in UT and NV as a substitute for coffee and regular tea, due to the religious restrictions on the use of caffeine.

In the form of a natural herbal tea, it is quite safe. The recent propaganda campaign and FDA action against ephedra supplements made no distinction between the natural herb and concentrated forms of the active ingredient, ephedrine.
