Definitely a classic

 

Haven't seen this flick in years. I should give it another look soon.

 

I feel I can relate to Travis Bickle's character in a lot of ways.

 

I'd be interested in hearing you elaborate, if it's not too personal.

 

That is so random I was thinking today about watching this movie - because I was thinking about how awesome it is to see a really good movie for the first time after years of not seeing it (and it kind of feels like you're watching it for the first time, even though you can recite most lines of the movie lol) and I was thinking I should watch Taxi Driver soon.. because I haven't seen it in probably 3+ years.

Yea, great movie. I haven't seen it in a few years either and could def. watch it again sometime soon.

 

One of my fabourites, Cybil Sheppard is irritating in it though

 

Yeah great film.That was also a great era for film-making in general - there was a kind of gritty realism in the air.
