You obviously have not explained "a tax system that would work for everyone", so perhaps you should recognize that any 'inability' is on your part.

The variables which exist in each country are not identical, so like most simple solutions to complex problems, they seldom work.

 

Go read the first post... see if you can strike together a couple of brain cells and spark an understanding of why you should just go away and stop trolling...

 

First off, I started out by pointing out what I meant by the poverty line.

Then I gave a number to be used as an example.

If it costs 2000$ a month where you are to have; shelter, food, light, heat, electricity and communications, then the numbers that followed would be in line with what I was saying.

If you were in another country, say one where people worked for pennies a day, then obviously, the numbers (in terms of dollars) wouldnt be right... Everything would have to be scaled appropriately.

As each country has its own economic system that has differing values, each country would obviously be the ones to set what the scale was, and the general area (municipality or such) would determine the poverty line for that area.

 

When you tax someone more than someone else it's not fair for anyone. Just because you lack the ambition to earn more doesn't mean someone who does should pay for you.
