Have quite a low pain threshold, where is the best place to get my first tattoo in terms of the least pain?
as a general rule, it hurts more wherever the skin is closest to the bone (like with most things, come to think of it.) I got my first tattoo on the back of my calf and it was fine, but if you get one on, say, the top of your feet or your ribs or something you'd be in for a world of hurt Just joking, its actually not that painful. It's a kind of persistent pain, if that makes sense, rather than an uneven one. I think that that makes it easier to ignore if you have something else to focus on. I just brought a book with me. The most popular tattoo locations tend to be the most painless. calves, biceps, shoulders, forearms, thighs. Wherever theres a lot of muscle or fat to keep the needle and the bone far apart. Heres a handy chart: Keep it in the yellow and you'll be fine. What are you thinking of having done?
Time is also a factor when getting tattooed. The area may be pretty easy to sit through but after seven hours, you're gonna get a little worn down.
So everyone told me it doesn't hurt that much. Cut to me lying face down, while they do the back of my shoulder, tears pouring down my face, muttering "those fucking assholes lied to me!" It is worth it though. I love my tattoo and I will be getting another one soon!
A friend got a smiley face on the tip. It got him layed a few times he wasn't shy about showing it to people. Had a female assistant hold it for the artist but that created problems
There was a guy who came here for a short time that had his entire dick tattooed. Those are the only dick pics I've ever asked for and the only ones I have saved on my phone. There's no way you can find that out and NOT ask to see it. He said it doesnt hurt any more than anywhere else on your body. I have 9 tattoos and I don't know if I believe him. I don't have a dick to know what it would feel like but something tells me its worse than other places. The only one of mine that I would say hurt was the one on my foot. I won't do that again.
Yeah I got one on my foot this summer and holy crap it hurt so much! I still think the pain is worth it though.
I have two in the red zone and one in the orange zone. I describe the pain as a cutting pain. To me, it feels like I imagine a surgical scalpel would feel being slowly dragged across your skin.
