Tattoo and Piercing Pics

Seriously love the personal expressions here! I'm not all that pierced, just my right ear mostly. But I do love my tat...got it over the summer...it's a red devilish heart with horns and tail and it's on my lower back. Verra sexy if I do say so myself. I'll have to see if I can get my camera working and post a pic. I'm dying for tat number 2. I'm thinking of a somewhat large piece on my thigh...something with a phoenix and a variety of details symbolizing all the ordeals I've survived. And for some strange reason, I liked the needles...

redrocket, you seem to have learned already that tatoos can be rather addicting. I've gotten 7 in less than 2 1/2 years and will be getting my eighth on Monday. I'm probably a more extreme example of this, but I know I'm not the only one!

 

No kidding vivid! I had no idea I'd be addicted! I love it all...the personal expression, the look, the experience...I know I won't stop at 2!

Yeah, I've got so many and I've still got a bunch i want to get... I have a really great tat artist, well, two really great tat artists (they work in the same shop) and it's just going to break my heart when i move to Tennesee in May and have to find someone new to trust with my skin. *sigh* Im gonna miss those guys.

Aw, heron, you're such a sweetie. I was reading another forum and realized that you, too, are married, and I just want to say she's a verrrrry lucky woman! I will definetly keep posting my new art, as a matter of fact, I'll post my leg pieces.
The purple one is just a piece I fell in love with, but the other one, the funky one, is a memory piece. I won't go into great detail on the board cuz I don't wanna bring anyone down, but if anyone has any questions on that or any of my ink, just send me a message, and i'll be happy to answer.

 

She is a lucky woman for sure, but not as lucky as I am for having her love me. Is your husband the fella in one of your gallery pics?

Vivid, I really am digging your "funky" piece. I'd love to hear your backstory if you ever want to pm me. I love the clean lines of it. It really seems to flow. Now you've got me contemplating number 3 on my lower leg. Have *no* idea what the design would be, but I'm really liking the location. Do you think I need to get into a 12 step program for this addiction?

And I'm so fricking excited. I've made an appointment for the last piece to finish out my leg on the 21st. It's going to be three snakes draping over foliage. To represent insanity, physical illness, and death - all of which have affected my life hugely in the last 6 years. It will have to be done in stages - it's going to be big. I'll post pictures as it happens.
