Went to the tobacco store and stopped at a newly built grocery store/"Super Center" to get one item.... absolutely the worst, most confusing store I've ever been in. I'm guessing if none of the isles are laid out in a normal grid pattern I'm supposed to buy more shit.

Another thing that I noticed throughout this short shopping trip... There are more arrogant assholes out there than I normally encounter, which is quite a few. I guess they have been emboldened by the new asshole in chief that was just elected.

I worked in a grocery store and when I was there it was 19 long straight isles. Then after I quit they went to some fucked up random checkered style of isle/display. Soon after they changed they went out of business. It was pretty cool how you try to link the new commander in chief on the change but the fact remains that both cases were under the present commander.

Re-read my post... Nowhere did I tie the stores design to Trump.

Arrogance increase among rural Ohioans on the other hand....

My bad. RIF as I tell others and should have taken my own advice.
Funny that if I remember correctly that you would get the feeling of them being emboldened when (like I said forgive me for not researching but from memory) they voted for Obama in the last two elections.

omg... I could have written this, except for the tobacco store part. I WILL ALWAYS MISS SMOKING NO MATTER HOW LONG I DON'T SMOKE.

Since I actually live in Assholeville, the people around here are even more rabid than usual. It seems sort of the dirty opposite of amazing that people here have found new lows in their judging and loudly announced intentions of "what Ah'm gonna do ifn (choose whatever minority you want) looks cross ways at me...Ah'm always locked and loaded". The worst thing is they ARE "locked and loaded" all the time, proudly talking about their CWP. :yikes:

    mercy

Well around here you'd be wrong about that, too. These same ones that are "locked and loaded" with very interesting (murderous) intentions all HATED Obama with a passion, which they would be thrilled to tell you about also.

Big difference between Ohio and tobacco country.
I wouldn't be wrong because I wouldn't make that comment about there.

Dun worry pengerz I still know you're wrong. ;)

Jokes. I don't even know what you're wrong about. Nobody is truly wrong if they perceive themselves being right, though? Right?

Everything in this world makes sense because that's how we've perceived it, that's how we've made peace and made sense of it. To have answer that makes sense to us. Whether we are right or wrong is totally irrelevant. We can't be right if it doesn't make sense to us, but the thoughts of being wrong only circle because they don't make sense to us.

Does 1+1 really = 2? and what if we are wrong? But we can't be because we made it up to suit our preferences and desires. 1+1 can't not = 2, because that wouldn't make sense to us.

I'd always wondered well surely beings on another planet would be totally different. They wouldn't have the same equations because everything is different to them. We know now our supposed mathematical equations but they only make sense to us on our planet because everything we taught ourselves was based on everything else about our planet. That one year is 365 days. That's our calander year, but wouldn't a calander year for another planet well away might be 24 years per orbit. And that's still one year to them. So who's right and who's wrong? 24+24=48 years on earth but that's only 2 years to those inhabitants of that planet. Why would they make another equation for a planet that's totally different from them? Well I don't think they would. They don't even know our mathematics because we designed that all for ourselves based on nothing other than it could be taught and understood and followed. :)

So, you're wrong, I'm wrong. All in the eyes of the beholder and we damn well bloody know I'm not wrong. ;)

    ^^^ lol

Irmi, math is probably the one single solitary thing that is the same world wide...as well as the single solitary thing we, as humans, got right.

Probably if aliens ever had the slightest desire to talk to us (which I can't imagine why they would unless it would be to let us know they were laughing :D ), they would use math to do so...because all over the planet scientists, astronomers and who all/everybody in the upper echelon of academia would understand something said through math.

I don't think we are the "smartest" ones in the galaxy.

    :D
