I absolutly adore trees, I talk to them all the time... they talk back, in a way. It's really quite peaceful...
I've never talked to a tree, but I would do it! Trees are great!!! I have heard that if you talk to plants it helps them grow!
I hate to use a sterotypical word, but I truly am a tree hugger. I just like to hug trees. They smell wonderful and I like to give the very objects that give us the air we breathe a little love and inspriation.
lol Freedbypeace, did you know moss actually produces significantly more O2 then trees? Nobody ever appreciates poor moss, just cause its not cuddly.
I was visiting this monestary in west africa and they had the most giant, tall and magestic looking tree I had ever seen in thier courtyard, it took 4 of us to give it a big circle hug
I love trees and nature. I love being surrounded by trees. I love sitting against one barefoot in the dirt. It's the most peaceful and down to earth act you can really do. I also hug trees regularly! lol
Trees are the most oldest and wisest beings in our world. They are at such peace, they have learned not to fight and have worked out the secrets to life which is why they live to such an old age. They are great listeners and they can speak back through the earth. I love trees, I love talking to them, hugging them and becoming one with the earth whilst sat with the trees. I also sing to my plants in my room and I tell you! even my mum noticed how quick they've grown!! I play a lot of music too. I really hope they are content. Think about it man, if trees could walk they would rule the earth. It would be amazing but we'd have to fear them and be in awe of them so much - it would rock but also suck at the same time! (this is a good subject to discuss for when you're smoking herb). Woa, it's insane. Peace! x
I Belive they can feel! HANGING TREE There have been many tales Tainted by truth twisted by time… Some choose to forget Yet it still Weaves webs in their minds… And it seems like she's been here forever Her branches as black as the seas She's been through it all By the luck of the draw She became the old hanging tree… She asked for nothing Except maybe A little rain… They used her strength To help them steal lives away… And she witnessed the sadness and sorrow To this day she still doesn't know why But her heart broke When they came with the rope To declare her the old hanging tree… Life stranger then fiction Can make you want to cry Roots could never stop her From reaching for the sky… Those years have all past Lucky for us lucky for her… Now, children play at her feet And in her arms she cradles birds… And it seems she's been here forever These days are the best that she's seen But somewhere in the back Of her mind Is the time She was known as the old hanging tree… -Blackmore's Night

Oh yeah..I dig trees so hard! They are so beautiful.See,where I live in my yard I only have like one big one..I wish I had more. I hug trees sometimes..lmao.I don't talk to them,I talk to the tree spirits..well not talk but listen. You know,it makes me sick what people do to trees. they have the nerve to cut them down for paper and their own crap, then they have the nerve to plant them for their own personal enjoyment in their yards.. then they have the nerve to throw that paper on the ground and litter.. so,they don't respect what the trees do for them-give them air,and peace. They could at least throw paper products in the trash..
I love trees! They embody the Earth Spirit to me. Huggin' a tree talkiong to it, loving it and appreciating them is so rewarding. After doing so, I feel so calm and grounded and connected to all life. Before I appreciated trees like I do now, I visited Stout's Grove in Northern California or southern oregon, Id on't remember which exactly now, but it was so enchanting to see the beautiful massive old trees. Just walking along the path you got this sense of wonder, and beauty, and life. Now, if i ever go back, I'm sure it would be a spiritual, religious experience that would move me to tears.
