Other drugs have real effects on your body that damage you. The only thing weed does is affect your lungs and your memory. I don't look down on hard drug users, i just think to myself that they're making a mistake.

 

Dude, I do NOT agree at all. I mean, I smoke pot. I obviously like weed, but I also do other psychedelics (DXM, Morning Glory, etc.). However, there is a big difference from doing weed to doing Heroin or Cocaine.

1. Weed does not make your teeth fall out. Meth does.
2. No one has ever robbed a store or house, because they ran out of pot.
3. It is scientifically impossible to overdose on weed. How many people die from Heroin, Cocaine, or Meth overdoses?
4. Meth is not natural. It is a blend of corrosive chemicals, which have been known to produce Hydrochloric Acid. I have never heard of someone's house blowing up from growing Weed. Weed comes from the dirt and a seed. It is a plant that is commonly found in nature.
5. There is a reason they call Heroin addicts "Junkies." 'Nuff said.
6. Weed has potential medical uses and can help with many diseases without causing adverse affects. It can even be used to help morning sickness while pregnant and not cause an ill effect on the child. The worst that has been reported is the child having low birth weight, which can easily be solved by feeding your kid more food til they are at the appropriate weight. The other side effect is your child will actually sleep through the night. Ooo.... every mother would hate that. How many people has Meth, Cocaine, and Heroin really helped? That can be medically proven?

So, yes, there is a reason why some weed users look down on those who kill themselves with Meth, Cocaine, and Heroin. Weed makes you mellow, relieves pain, helps insomnia and anorexia, and gives you the munchies. Meth, Cocaine, and Heroin only kill people.

That is the difference.

1. ok... maybe true.. but at the same time the stereotypical stoner could loose his teeth from being to lazy and careless to perform routine dental hygiene.. which in fact.. can lead to loss of teeth.. trust me.. i've seen my fair share of crusty stoners

2. I have known of many of scandalous stoners that wouldn't think twice about stealing parents/relatives money for marijuana.. (actually there was a post here some time back about a kid that was pissed off because his brother flushed his weed down the toilet that the kid bought with money he stole from said brother)

One estimate of Cannabis's LD50 for humans indicates that about 1500 pounds of Cannabis would have to be smoked within 15 minutes..) it is however theoretically impossible to overdose on marijuana.. learn the difference

Like Micha said.. the word junkie is used as slang for a various drug users.. don't just point out a specific individual.. also.. just because someone does drugs other than marijuana doesn't mean their life is shit.. i've met many of people who live perfect lives while on coke/heroin.. there are people that are considered "responsible drug users"

6. While marijuana struggles to become legal medically.. Heroin(and its derivatives)/Cocaine have long been used in the medical field...

actually just a couple weeks ago a friend of mine was hit in the face(nose) with an 85mph baseball and they used cocaine on her(long story short.. she was playing baseball.. pitched the ball.. it was line drived back to her face)... Also when i had my tonsils removed i was administered Cocaine as well to stop the bleeding in my throat
